Well the R32 GTR was probably finalised back in 1986 or so. And cars have come a long way since then. So in terms of suspension where there have been leaps and bounds made i think the newer car would be better. Also the chassis in a R34 GT-t is 50 percent stiffer than that of a R33 GTR so for ciircuit that would be good. I personally chose a 34 GT-t over a 32 GTR just because i got a newer more moden car, that i beleived i would have less problems with. Both will make good track cars i guess it's down to personal preference, a lot of guys on here do hillclimbs and race so maybe ask in the motorsport section.

OK, but i beleive that any existing HD-DVD drive will be able to read a 3 layer disc. Where as with these new bly-ray disc's it will require a whole new transport.

Now your saying June next year. Before you were saying the same time a MGS4, than about a month later, now 3 months later. And the release dates for those games in japan were also with about the same distance between them. Also playstation 1 and 2 consoles have only ever been bundled with first party sony titles. There may of been soft bundles with games from 3rd party developers, but never in the same box.

So you've gone from saying released at the same time to a month after each other. I agree a month later for one of the titles would be a good idea. But i don't see the next gran turismo being finished until late next year at the earliest. Gran Turismo - May 1998 Metal Gear Solid Febuary 99 (9 months later) Gran Turismo 2 - October 2000 Metal Gear Solid 2 March 2002 (17 months later) Gran Turismo 3 - July 2001 Metal Gear Solid 3 - March 2005 (over 4 years later) Gran Turismo 4 - March 2005 Metal Gear Solid 4 - Still TBC but March 2008 current release schedule (over 3 years) I don't see how in past history they have been close to each other.

Why are we talking about HMDi all of the sudden? i see no mention of it anywhere in this thread. HDMi is not the best either espcially for carrying audio. You will be hard pressed to find anything that sounds better than a good quality balanced imput, or a coaxial digital cable. Microsoft never said the 360 would have HDMi either so i don't know where you got that. They in fact said that it wouldn't be neccesasary on the 360. I do agree though that it would of been wise to have the option of both an AV multi out and a HDMi on the 360, the same as on the ps3. Also i hate to break it to you but 1080P can be done over component cables. (you may wanna research stuff before you say it) The 360 has been doing it since Febuary. And the ps3 has been able to do it all the time. The biggest problem is finding a screen that accepts 1080P over component becasue a lot do not.

Yeah cos on one hand you get only what you want with the 360 for a cheaper price. With the ps3 you get everything at a higher price. And if you do want everything on the 360 it's gonna cost you more than just buying a ps3. How i long for the days of either snes or megadrive, all you needed was extra controllers. (please note i'm not including 32x or megacd as they did nothing for sega, except for help kill them)

pauly please don't embarrass yourself anymore. I can easily spec a ps3 for under 1000 dollars. It's called buying a US or Japanese unit. Or you could buy a korean unit get a bigger HDD standard and also pay less. Or you could get the aformentioned US or Japanese unit and receive what we were promised in the form of a EE and GS chipset. Your take on the games is "subjective" not "objective" the launch was quite weak with no AAA quality titles. That is a fact check the reviews worldwide. Yes games on a whole are more down to personal taste but looking at them objectively not 1 single game at the ps3 launch improves on what has already been done. And black32 what the hell are you talking about? I've made no mention of game prices. I've paid over 3x that much for games on the Neo Geo so 100 dollars for a game seems pretty good to me. And to get use of the eye candy you do need a high definition display your an idiot if you don't believe that. And as i've mentioned numerious times i am a sony fanboy at heart. I'm just not stupid enough to beleive the crap sony has been sprouting the past few years.

in theory though HD-DVD can have a 3rd layer so it can technically have more space than Blu Ray. In hindsight it would of been good of microsoft to include the HD DVD drive and HDD standard. But that probably would of meant a price like we pay for the PS3, it's a tricky one.

What pisses me off is people that think you shouldn't have a fast car to begin with. It's only as fast as your right foot. There is yet to be a car made that has too much power and there never will be. It's simple less throttle = less speed. We are such a draconian country it's unbelieveable. My dad and uncles were drving and riding bikes 30 years ago that had a lot of go, and they certainly didn't stop and turn as well as cars do nowadays. And they are alive. You should be able to drive whatever car you like.
