Sete Gibernau has barely challenged Rossi this year. It's all been Nicky Hayden, Loris Carpirossi, Danni Pedrossa. Rossi's bike is excellent this year. Very comparable to the Honda's, and ducati's.

It's a May 1998 R34 GT-t coupe. Just over 63,000 km Rego till march Silver in colour Rather good keenwood head unit. Also has an Apexi RSM with speed cut. Toyo tyres with good tread all round Stock everything else. But 3 rims have gutter rash but came like that. Has bass junky radiator guide ohh and 5 speed manual. Rego is XEF 730 At South Australia's dyno day a few weeks back got 157 rwkw. And was a nice smooth power and torque curve. Looking for around 25,000 or so. Make me an offer.

Yeah imagine if Nissan, Toyota etc, etc, bought out decent rear wheel drive cars here. Instead of boring FWD v6's that are too soft. How cool would it be if they bought in the Fuga, Aristo, etc, etc. Aussies would get the V8 they love and RWD which they love. And that would be nicer than any Holden or Ford in my opinion.

I'd swap my R34 for a 4 door V35 any day of the week. I love them.

And your getting a car whose engineering was finalised probably some time last year were as supra's were done in 1992 or so. Cars have come a long way since then. Espically in the suspension department. And BMW has always made sweet sounding straight 6's with factory exhausts so i imagine the new ones will sound horn.

I think you'd find that a new 335 Ci coupe would do everything a series 8 rx7 or Twin Turbo supra would do only a lot better. I drove my r34 around mallala and a guy there had a 325 Ci with sports suspension and it handled better than my stock r34 hands down. It was smoother, better balanced, held it's line better, absorb bumps much better, etc, etc.

They are R34 rims, they are the 16 inch ones you get on the 4 door model if it's non turbo, also on 2 foor non turbo.

I wouldn't pay much more than 15 grand for a stock series 2 now. I'd be luckly to get much over 20 for my r34. The value has dived big time the past few months.

I wouldn't mind one too, Here in SA there is a place that makes custom ones and they are fairly reasonably priced. If there is enough interest i'm willing to get the design all done and maybe we could then organise a group buy.

I've heard that is does. I don't know specifically when and what happens, but if you leave your car in storage i'd get the fuel drained before hand.

Thats why i never believe people who say that got their car up to 220 on the speedo, cos more than likely it's around the 200 mark. Also need to take into account tyre expansion as they heat up.

Well compressions are different with the 25DE having a higher compression than the DET.

But 20 grand on a car what a waste. The speed limit is 100 nowdays so why bother. Why not buy a cheap race car and learn to drive quickly? And have something cheap to run during the week?
