Your best bet would be a series 2 r33 rb25 box as they use a push type clutch the same as a r34. I don't think the rb20 gearbox would be strong enough.

I think it's crazy over priced for what it is. Lucky i can get one for cost price but still way too expensive.

I've always been told when locked diffs are like that it's because they are working hard. It's not bad or anything. Maybe you should look at changing the oil in the diff. Redline Shockproof tends to quiet them down a bit. Other than that how are you liking the car? Also some pics would be nice!

I don't like the way people seem to love 32's cos they are "faster" Only in a straight line. Around a race track a 33 and 34 GTR would be faster. Nissan wouldn't of gone backwards. Anyone can redline a car and drop the clutch it takes a bit more skill to go around some corners.

I've been keeping a log of the amount of fuel i've been using this year in the R34. And so far it's 12.5 litres per 100km. This is mostly driving around victor with the occasional drive to adelaide and a bit of fun.

SV650's are great. They look horn (Espically the K3 and new models) They have about 70 hp or so and will do a mid 12 quarter mile. I just found them to be lacking in the suspension and braking department, but i don't believe you'd be able to tell when you first start riding. Put an exhaust on them and they have a nice V-twin sound. Also the chassis is a bit to flexible but you'd have to be going rather hard to know that.

Hey Tangles. Just rode my cousins brand new GSXR-750 today. Absolutely brillant. It makes you remember how pathetic cars are in comparison to a motorbike. I'm really thinking of getting rid of the r34 and going for another new bike. Abo Bob, tangles is right don't waste your money on a learners bike. Chances are you'll drop it. And you don't want to spend too much money. I'm a fan of twins as they don't need to be revved as much so maybe look at a cb250. Or if you want something a little more exciting a Honda Sparda is damn nice. They use the same engine as the VTR250. Only most of them are alot older. Also when you get your full license don't go for the most expensive bike you can afford. Riding something that is too powerful for you. Will end up making you a worse rider as you will be too scared. You see lots of wankers that go fast in the straights then slow right down for the corners. And corners are where the fun on a bike. Have fun, any questions just ask us. And welcome to a new biker. P.S. Don't be foolish and say your car is faster then most bikes because you are just embarassing yourself. A new 600 that can be had for 15,000 and have a 3 year factory warrenty. Will be faster then your line in any corner or drag comp.

Saw a lovely black 2 door r34 the other day on South Road. I drive a blue 1990 nissan pulsar as a daily so no-one will notice me.

I thought the M35 was the new Stagea.

I think ferrari is such a wank. They have cars that cost around 350,000 for a base model and then have factory options like "Handling package" and "brake package" It's a Ferrari you'd think they'd turn and stop pretty well out of the shop.

Hey do you have the A Pillar plastic for the inside on the passanger side? If it's in black and not that suade funny stuff you see on some 4 door r34's. If so whats your price? Also nightcrawler if you wanna post it together then i can pick up my part. As you live near where i work.

They also have more power. ABS is standard i believe. And airbags are standard i thiknk as well. On both driver and passanger.

Well they work off kilograms/cm*2 or something of the top of my head (i haveb't driven mine for 2 weeks) so it sounds about right. Mine sits on just over 3 quarters as well on full boost.

I chose a 34 over a s15 cos thats what i've always lusted over. Remember though the s15 is certainly more sporty than a family car on which the r34 is based on.

Why do people insist on calling them a taxi??? If you've ever been to germany you would know they use brand new BMW's as taxi's over there. Does it make them any less a drivers car? I'd chose a BMW 330ci over my r34 any day.
