Hi all, As some of you know i've just started a new job in the city and are pretty much screwed for money. So my 1998 R34 GT-t is up for sale. It's a 2 door coupe silver in colour. It's manual, has about 59,000 km on it 4 new toyo tyres, and was serviced last week. I will put some photo's up when i get back to home in victor harbor. I am after 25,000 for it. I paid about 35,000 for it about a year and 3 months ago. It also has rego till next march. If i don't get the money for it i won't be bothered selling it. Pics up soon Thanks Karl

Hahahah too bad Half Life 2 was such a bad game. It was such a letdown it was unbelievable. The best FPS of 2004 was without a doubt Chronicles of Riddick on either PC or XBOX.

Yeah i read about it. A lad was deliverying a new motorcycle to the ferrari owners house and she commented on how nice his car was so he said i'll take you for a ride. Poor guy had 4 kids and a wife.

I've never had a problem with WD. HDD brands don't really worry me that much. The HDD is still the weakest part in any system apart from the internet. Also i bought the HDD down here in victor harbor and thats a pretty good price.

They are twin turbo.

Main difference is r34's are push type clutch and 33's series one and before a pull type (or vice versa) I personally wouldn't be too worried if it's been done well. Do you mind telling us what you paid for it?

Well i just got a 250 gig hdd for 135 bucks which is pretty damn good. I remember when dad bought home a 40 mb drive and that was so cool. It's not SATA or anything i didn't bother with that cos i'm running it as a backup drive with all my warez on it. Now i'm just waiting for vista to come out so i can get a direct x10 videocard. But now vista has been delayed to like febuary next year!

Hey tangles i still have to come see you about your Stagea. Been very hectic the past few weeks espically with starting this new job next week. But i will give you a call. And i work mon to fri so it should be easier. It's hard deciding between the skyline and a bike. I love the skyline so much and the missus loves riding in it. But motorbikes are motorbikes.

Well i see it as i'll appreciate the line more if i only use it on weekends and spend monday to friday in the 91 pulsar. Thats if i don't sell the skyline, which i'm not fussed either way.

I don't want to use the line as a daily as i'm doing 160 km a day. And it's not fair on the car. I start this coming monday, and i'll let you know what it's all like. And what i can do when it comes to wholesale prices for games and whatnot.

Well fellow peoples. I have some great news. I just got a job at a company that are the second largest distrubitor of videogames in australia. They supply all the JB Hi-Fi's EBgames retravisions etc, etc in australia with videogames and accesories. And that means that i now work in adelaide and have to commute from Victor Harbor!!! But it will be a great job and so much better than Woolworths. So if anyone wants to buy an r34 let me know, cos i bought a daily driver so won't be using the line all that much. And i want to get a motorcycle again. Also i'm not fussed weather it sells or not either way is good.

Get over the FPV/HSV bashing. I would not be suprised if a FPV or HSV would be faster around a race track compared to a stock Silivia, or GTST Skyline.

R34 GTR's have cup holders for sure.

I think the look alright. It's a little sad to see true aussie cars start to be fazed out. As in the new 380 and VE all take styling cues from european cars. The VE rear end looks so much like some Audi's. But i guess they have to build what people want to buy. We need to remember in business it's not about what you want it's about what the customer wants. Also when people start saying how stupid it is to be releasing a car that big that will undoutably have quite high fuel consumption. They need to remember when the VE project started oil was around 50 US dollars a barrel. Not the 80 dollars it is now. And not to many people predicted the price to jump quite like it has. I do think they need to look at other engine possibilies. We know that australians aren't the biggest fans of diesel in the world, but if you look at Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Alfa Romeo, etc, etc you will see diesel cars are starting to make a bit of an impact. I think a straight six 3 litre turbo diesel would do quite nicely in a comodore. And make pulling the caravan even easier. And with the new six speed auto it would make a good pair.

I've been though this a thousand times GTR's are NOT purpose built. They are based of a 4 door family car platform. The new GTR will be the first and only purpose built GTR. Having it's own unique 2 door chassis, and powertrain. Skylines are performance cars in the same vain as a SS is a performance car. They are both based of high volume selling family cars that have been modded to make them more sporty. If you want a true pure nissan sports car in australia you are limited to a 200SX (Silvia) or a 350Z.

I'm just sick of people on here saying how crap wheels and motor are when they would have driven between them thousands of cars, clocked millions of kilometers, driven the most sort after cars in the world. And know a thing or two about them. And alot of wheels contributers are ex racers, test drivers, etc, etc.

I've done everything on Ridge Racers except those stupidly hard ones in which only like 1 in 50 people can do. Forget what they are called. Also i had a jap 1.5 model and upgraded it. ROMS are overrated and i can play them on my computer. I'd rather play PSP games on my PSP and Super Famicom games on my Super Famicom.

Hahahaa at least wheels and motor actually know something about cars unlike say. Posters on skylinesaustralia or Fast 4's or Hot 4's. Those magazines just go on about how it has a sub woofer and a retrimed interior and how fully sick the cars are. All the journalists from wheels and motor would be more tallented drivers than just about anyone who comes to this site without a doubt.

Buy mine stock as a rock except RSM and Cd player. New tyres for 25,000. I'm just over cars they cannot compare to motorcycles.

I can't believe that in this day and age they are still offering air conditioning as an extra on the base model. Whats up with that? 12,000 korean cars come standard with air con but a 34 grand new holden doesn't.

I have Ridge Racers Wipeout GTA LCS and Loco Roco Loco Roco is the best game i've played this year and have been waiting for it for so long. Get it you won't be disapointed.
