  1. Realistically it isn't worth more than say 500 to 700 dollars. Which is sad cos it's an alright computer for average stuff. The problem is that Dell and whatnot have pc's with LCD monitors and what not for around 800 or so bucks so that kills the second hand market.
  2. Yeah there is no way they could make it faster because then it would be inconpatible with the current 360. But there is a HD DVD drive coming out later this year but so far it is only for movie playback.
  3. gaymatchmaker.com runs away...
  4. Yeah i remember a few years ago toyota was lobing to get into V8 supercars. And all the ford and holden drivers were saying how they don't mind them looking into it, just that they want if throughly investgated, and that if it's in the best interest of the sport. But i think we all know that they would be shit scared cos toyota could make a great v8 supercar. They are the most profitable car maker in the world (in the next few years they will be selling more cars than GM, plus they won't be selling them for a loss unlike GM) they have racing experiance in the most advance series in the world with formula 1. And i plain don't understand how people think commodores are good cars. My mum has one for work and i drove it one day and the fit and finish is terible. The steering is vague with no feel or weight. The brakes are wooden and has a slushly pedal. But on the other hand i have driven a BA and find them to be much better. Back on topic Toyota for the win!!!
  5. You'll find that in most cases 95 octane is 7 cents dearer than regular ULP and 98 octane is 10 cents more. And then that optimax ultimate happy fuel is even more. You can't get it in South Australia but i wouldn't mind trying a tank of it.
  6. Haha, i had my gtt wheels on my mates r32 GTR the other day cos he had to go through regency. They looked damn nice but were way to close in the guards cos of the wider gtr track. Looked good.
  7. Well in the door of my 34 there is a sticker there that has been put on during compliance stating size of tyre ie 225/45/17. And a 7 inch wide rim. But nowhere does it say what brand of tyre and what model it came with. I doubt any at all would have that.
  8. Was wondering if anyone knows the OEM tyres that came on skylines? I'd be interesting to see what tyres they came out on from the factory. I'm mostly interested in the R34 GT-t ones but if you know other models that would be good too if anyone can help.
  9. Fantastic bike and good price. I've still got my 1993 model and is a fantastic runabout and perfect if fuel is costing you too much.
  10. Yeah selling stolen goods on a public forum probably wouldn't be your best move.
  11. Hurry up the audiance is getting restless We want chilli willy We want chilli willy We want chilli willy
  12. Not sure if there are ones for non GTR 34's, the only one i've seen is the 260 km dash. Good luck getting any skyline up to 320 km though.
  13. Yeah it's quite easy just cut off the connector for the standard one and then just need a tester to figure out which wires are which and what speakers are what etc, etc.
  14. It won't do shit, modern engines are smart enough with knock sensors and the like that the engine will run fine on ULP. I bet some of you on here smoke and drink alcohol? so that makes you stupid cos fresh air and water a better for you aren't they. Grow up.
  15. Can i ask what did you get the wreck for?
  16. It's just street cred but more than likely will only impress doctors and lawyers. They are damn nice inside but as a four wheel drive you'll find that land cruisers, pajero's, etc, etc are better at off road. Being that they don't weigh in at like 2500 kg's compared to range rovers.
  17. Yup the R34's were the only ones with th neo engines. That and the last generation of Stagera's
  18. Well i check my oil regulary, and will stick with 10,000 service intervals (that includes oil filter) and looking at the oil in there at the moment been in about 4000 k's and looks not to bad to me. Definietly not like new but not like soot either.
  19. NEO's have VVT right through the rev range non NEO's don't. Just do a search and you'll find all your answers.
  20. R34's have a service interval 10,000. The R32's and 33's had 5000. Just like the s13's were 5000, the s15's are 10,000 or maybe 15,000 (can't quite remember would have to ring my mate up)
  21. Thats a bit harsh, my dad reackons i should be riding my pushbike to work instead of driving cos of the cost of fuel, doesn't mean he's stupid. You junkbroad minded person. Sounds like you came from a very unloving family. Also this imported dude said this new car was his new daily driver. And that sticker under your hood is a compliance sticker. Your car should have them in a few places for things like service intervals, tyre sizes and pressures etc, etc. Mine says 91 RON and thats on a R34.
  22. Yeah i'm a little worried about when it needs to be done. I'm thinking i'll just do it in about 2 years. Still annoying though when you buy a car with 42,000 on it and you find that out, but thats the thing with imports. It drives fantastic so i'm happy. On the odo thing they can either change the ODO reading or they could just replace the whole dash with a written off one or something. But then the dash serial wouldn't match. But i would think it would be easier to wind back a digital one say over an analouge, cos i hear it's hard to get the numbers to match up all nice on the old style ones. Most people say (and i would agree) the best way to tell the condition of the car is to just look at it. A car could of done 20,000 km's in japan and only had it's oil changed once in 7 years. Or it could have 100,000 on it but been taken care of by it's owner. Oil changed every 10,000 km allowed to stretch it's legs regulary etc, etc.
  23. Just lately i've been thinking about the whole ULP Vs PULP debate and i'm starting to wonder if it's worth it. Ever since i've had my car it's had only BP Ultimate which is 10 cents a litre dearer than regular ULP. And i'm wondering if it makes and difference what so ever. The compliance manual that came with my car says 91 octance. And just the other week i had this guy who was probably around 50 years old come in the most mint series 2 r33 i've ever seen come and and put regular ulp in it. And when i asked him about his car he said he was an importer and had just bought it back from japan along with a couple of R34 GTR's. He said he runs the GTR's on PULP but he reackons the GTST are fine on ULP.
  24. Well my R34 had 41,000 on the odo when i got it. And one day i decided to take the "Turbo/NEO" engine cover off of it. And on the engine was what looks like a timing belt change sticker and it says 192,000 km on it. I'm not sure if that means it was changed at 192,000 or if it's due for a change again at 192,000. The interior of the car is pretty damn good though and the engine drivetain and everything else is very smooth and all, so i don't know what the deal is.
  25. yeah they started in about May of 98. There are only 2 series. Series 1 went to about 2000, and Series 2 went from 2000 - 2002 or so. Not much difference between them mostly cosmetic, front bar different, and interior colours different. Umm can't think of to many things to look for off the top of my head so just do a search and i'm sure something will come up. Good luck R34's are so nice.
