well he's selling this R33 GTR Vspec for 35,000 and it's got low km http://www.carpoint.com.au/used-car/1668347.aspx so yeah up to you i guess, but personally for a really good mint 32 GTR i wouldn't pay much more than 25,000.

I don't get it i've done track days at mallalara and i'm no member of a club. Just about 11 cars including myself turned up we went out and had an absolute blast 5 cars at a time a fast group and slower group (i was in fast ) got up to about 180 or so around the 2nd corner before the sharp left hander and hap an fantastic. No club at all.

How much did it cost for the R34 cluster? if you don't mind me asking 2000R34GTR.

You wouldn' t believe how much finicial striff both Ford and GM are in. They are so far in the red it's gonna take a miricle for them to get back on track. The stupid thing is with this New VE platform. I think it's called "Zeta" the americans aren't gonna use it or suport it as much instead they are keeping with their horrible FWD passanger cars and their new generation of trucks. Truck sales have fallen so much these past few years due to petrol prices it seems crazy that that is the direction they are headed. Anywho i hope the VE does well cos it sounds alright. They just need to offer different powerplants instead of the fairly average V6 and very nice V8.

They are stainless still and aren't painted. The dude that made it is a douche. He has been in so many failed car making projects. I don't get what your on about. That guy said i'm an idiot and taking him out of context cos he said they need to build more cars like the sivlia. Then 2rismo goes on to say that because they had 5 different cars based on the same platform it MAY of been a deciding factor in them going badly into debt? So are you agreeing with me or disagreeing? because i'm rather confused. What i'm saying is that the guy who thinks they need to make more cars like the silvia needs to compare the new VE to something more of the same. Unless he's talking about nissan build quality and engineering ability. In which case i agree cos the silvia is a good example of a pure sports car. On topic though with fuel prices tipped to get to 1.50 a litre after easter surely it's not a good time to launch a new car that will undoutable weigh in at around 1700 kg with a 3.5 litre V6. Look at 380 sales they are pretty much dead. I think manufactures really need to push diesel fuel as a better alternative to petrol engines. The euro's have been doing it for years and in europe more diesel cars are sold than petrol engined ones these days. They just need to educate the public on the benefits of diesel.

Hey mine does that two, it's pretty hard to hear it unless the door is open and when i engage the clutch it stops. My mechanic said not to worry about it and the car doesn't seem to be affected at all by it. SKY031 do you think it's something that should be investigated futher and what kinda damage can it do?

I actually work at the servo so it'll be easy to get the tape. Looks as though it'll just need a cut and polish, the only thing that pisses me off now is that then kent didn't say sorry, he barely said anything about it.

So at work tonight this guy decides to move his car after getting his petrol (before paying) and he leaves his door open as he does it. So he starts to move it over to the air compressor and his door is wide open and he is aiming straight for my car and CRACK he hits my car and his door slams closed. I have no idea how the hell he didn't see a silver skyline there and the fact that he hit it. I go out cos i'm more than pissed at the moment and he tells me he didn't see it and that he can't see any damage. Doesn't look like anything except for some clear coat gone but it's the principle of it. And to cap it off he doesn't even say sorry. I mean ffs you hit someones car the LEAST you can do is say sorry. So i took down his rego and he's a local. So when i look tomorrow if the clear coat has been damaged do you think i should tell him he's gonna have to pay for a cut and polish for my car? This is the first time anything like this has happened to me and now i know what it's like to see someone hit your pride and joy, it doesn't make you feel well in the stomach.

How could you think they were slow fwd cars for hairdresses? The've been around for 16 years or so, there the best selling convertable of all time, and the won wheels car of the year in about 1989 and 2005.

Hmm don't know my R34 pulls very nicely from about 2700, and then pulls even better from 4000 and kinda drops a little about 6500, but is hardly noticable. Best bet would to get all the AFR and everything checked, it may be retarding the timing or something at the revs, one easy thing to try would be to reset the ECU.

Ohh yes i totally agree on that. But really the idea behind them is very similar just that imo the skyline is better in everyway bar having the wife 3 kids and trailer on the back.

You do realise skylines aren't "true" sports cars don't you? Unlike say a silvia. I've been in this agrument on nissansilvia.com Just like an SS a GTS-T or GT-t or whatever is based off "family" car. An SS is a done up commodore executive. Just like in the case of R34's a GT-t is a done up GT. GT-t has the RB25DET and the GT has the RD20DE. All skylines are made off a 4 door platform so they were never made as 2 door cars only or intended to be. Yes i know the skylines are better than SS's in every regard (thats why i have an R34) but at the end of the day the thinking behind each of them is the same.

The only reason commodores and falcons survive is due to fleet buyers. I work at a petrols station and if a new falcon or comodore comes in you can pretty much guess it will have a star card cos it's a fleet or lease car. And they don't pay petrol so they don't give a damn. And it's really stupid having this big 4 litre car with one person in it driving around for work. They should be in small cars or something.
