Yeah i'd have 250 a week plus 1 million + dollars i've saved over the course of the past 40 years to buy a motorhome and drive around the country till i die. And yes i'll be able to find a house in the norther suburbs where i have a 1 hour commute to work each day (and thats one way) and petrol will cost even more then (not in my case as i have a work car that is fully paid for)

Yup baby boomers have been shown to be the most selfish generation ever! My pet peeve is people who own more than one house, you can only live in one so why do you need more? Then I hear all this crap about how it's a great investment but all you are doing is making it harder for the little guy to get into the market.

I'm with scandy, i am not buying a house until i get married. That way if she leaves me she only gets half which is what she is entitled too, no way i am buying now paying it off to in a few years having some girl leave me and get half of my hard work. Also i'd rather be happy and enjoying life than worrying about a 300 grand mortgage that I HAVE to pay off, no if's or but's, unless I want the bank to take it back off me.

so looked at this laptop last night, seems what i need, am worried it may be a big to big and bulky to carry on planes lots. Maybe 15 inch or so would be better. any opinions?

Cronic i just have an old netgear wireless router, 4 port, does adsl 2+, works great in our fairly large home. I have my computer and my fathers hooked up with ethernet cable, and my brother, the ps3, and xbox360 are all connected wirelessly throughout the house and it works perfect. I don't think you can go to wrong with most of the big brands out there nowadays, and my wireless router would be at least 4 or so years old now. Now my question I'm due a new laptop at work, so are there any suggestions? Has to be portable enough to be easily carried on planes as i fly a fair bit, but it also will be my main pc in the office, at the moment i just plug in a proper mouse when at work. Will be used for general office work, excel, powerpoint, word, etc, etc, there will also be some light photoshop duties, and being able to watch video's and play basic games is important too, it's not used for gaming but when testing at work it will be good to have something half decent to try stuff on. I'm interested in this vaio Linky but would like to hear opinions. Price isn't really an issue but i'm sure my boss would prefer under 3 grand. Fire away!!
