Hi, I've had my old car sitting at work for a few weeks. And I went to move it yesterday and was shocked to find about 1 cm of water in both the front passenger and rear passenger foot well. Having washed the car before i've never had any leaks like this, but we did have about 4 days of non stop rain here in Adelaide the other week. I'm just wondering who I should call about getting something like this fixed? Is it a windscreen place or just ring mitsubishi (it's a magna wagon btw)? Or who could advise on a quote to get this fixed? I'm gonna either sell the car or keep it around if i ever need to tow something but i want to get it all fixed as apart from this leak it has been a really nice car to own and drive. Any help is appreciated!

I really don't want to work this week. Got so much to do and don't know where to start... so i end up on her and get nothing done...

I don't have a skyline anymore or any friends P.S I did ask that the footy thread be locked as well

Mr mad082 i have a 3 grand budget for a road bike, and that must include pedals and shoes. What do you recommend?

Currently playing king of fighters 12.

So you have to drive it like a pussy? i don't know about you but if i had a supposed "supercar" i'd want to drive hard around a race track.

ahh i was a bit late sorry everyone, work is flat out (still doing some work as i type) once again a bit of a boring race, was fantastic to see lorenzo chase down rossi and take the win. The championship is certainly interesting as there are probably 4 guys who could claim it, stoner, rossi, perdrosa, and lorenzo. Pedrosa got a blistering start from 11 on the grid and was up to about 4th by the first corner, weighing about 40 kilos certainly helps there. Stoner was very slow at the start and when rolling into the pit garage indicated a chatter problem, which was later revealed to be an issue under brakes, it took him a while to be able to ride fast without the confidence and it was good to see him get it home and take some points instead of sliding it down the road. Once again a dreadful performance by suzuki, if i were vermulen i'd tell them to get stuffed at the end of this season. He has stuck by them with their ever constant promises of a better bike and each time they are left behind. The problem for vermulen is it would be hard for him to get another factory ride or even good satilite ride nowadays. Sad to see hayden get smashed from behind at the 5th corner by takahashi but these things happen, and hayden being the nice guy in motogp they seem to happen to him. This week we are off to spain for a twisty circuit, should be good fun.

Well if you don't have anything useful to contribute shut the f**k up. This is a general automotive section, not "my fully sick 11 year old R33 section"

Yes, but it shows how dumb you are for lack of a better word. If you really think that a 3 year old crewman is "worthless" you can't be too smart.

I love how blind you are you Nissan's Vu, it makes good reading. Redbook says 22 to 25 thousand with average kilometers around 60-90 thousand. So i would say around 18 or so grand due to the kilometers and those v8's are fairy thirsty. The back seats are also very very cramped, but also there not my kind of car so i'd never get one anyway.

MotoGP heads to Motegi for the Japanese round of the 2009 season. Rossi has just edged out stoner for first place on the friday qualifying times. Hayden once again is doing nothing and is well down the field. Good to see Vermulen up in 4th but as usual I predict an average race from the Suzuki. I'm already feeling jaded by the current season and we are only up to round 2. It's just getting extremely boring honestly. Superbikes are on this weekend as well, if you only can watch one or the other i'd stick with superbikes. Friday free practice times... 1. Valentino Rossi ITA Fiat Yamaha Team 1min 48.545 sec 2. i've got a samsung 2253 21.6 inch and it's 16 by 10, absolutely freaking love it! native res is 1650 x 1080. Perfect for gaming and everything else i do, should serve me well for at least another 2 years or so.

Yes i agree with you there. A good example is the UAW in north america. They get paid waaay too much money for unskilled labour and cannot compete with even Toyota's made in america. Same thing here, some year 9 graduate at elizabeth can make 60k + a year putting a few bolts a commodore. I personally don't like unions for these very reasons. I agree with you to an extent that the stimulas package is not a long term strategy as it only has short term effects, but i don't think helping what are obviously unprofitable small business' is the solution either. I like what the german government is doing and that is nothing. They are refusing to bail out banks and what not. ride the wave baby.

and like i said my bone stock r34 made 157 rwkw so 206 at the fly seems fairly resonable.
-
that thing is stupid Andrew. If we didn't have all this free market crap there would be no reason for the money not to stay in Australia.
-
ahh yeah they did, the only difference between series 1 and series 2 r34's was the torque which was slightly higher in the series 2.
-
well my bog stock series 1 r34 pulled 157 rwkw from memory, so i think around 200 would be enough for some fun. Personally i'd rather spend 5 grand on handling over 5 grand on power but i've always been a corners guy.
-
well i got 2 outta 8 last week so that was pretty gay.
-
this should be in the wasteland guys.
-
R34 GT-t series 2, coupe 5 speed manual, new suspension (no gay coilovers a proper spring and shock setup) uprated brakes just new fluid, pads, and discs, nice set of 18 inch rims, and a simple engine mods to get to a reliable 200 rwkw, front mount, full exhaust, hi-flo cat, and a computer with a decent tune should do it nicely, APEXi RSM (i loved the one on my old car) and that would make me very happy. I could afford to do it right now realistically but i'd rather keep doing motorbike stuff. I'll have another R34 one day for sure though.
-
gotta be resonably happy with that then. Sounds like a pretty good outcome in the end.
-
Thats like me robbing a store with a knife to feed my family still illegal champ.
-
hey sorry wasn't trying to be rude or anything, sorry if i sounded like a dick. Just borrow a compression kit if you can, that 50 bucks can be better spent on your family. I'm sure someone here can help you out.
