  10. if you are pulling the engine out, definitely do the dumps. port the manifolds, get good quality gaskets. do as much as possible. removing the turbos with the engine out takes about 10 minutes. removing the turbos with the engine in takes about 10 hours lol
  11. Im about to do this. Will only be buying genuine! Kudos have a 10 piece kit. Its about double what your eBay kit is!
  12. Just to make sure, check that the fitting is actually 'clicked' in when you connect it. Bmw have some interesting ways to connectors/joiners
  13. Clean that housing out properly. Get new o rings. Dont have to go bmw. Just go to your local parts shop. They will have a ton of o rings behind the counter. Maybe even lube the orings with some motor oil to get them to seat smoothly and not pinch. May even take some days for it to settle. Before the leak seals up. Failing that google a proper how to on how to do it. No doubt there is a youtube vid or an american bmw forum where what you are doing has been done to death. Iv got a e39 bmw v8 as a daily. When changing my water pump i disturbed the water pipes that go to the rear of the block from the water pump. I cleaned all surfaces when and reinstalled. Leaks for a few days then stopped. This was 6 months ago and still good. I bought a new set of o rings and other stuff for the rear of the engine but it hasnt leaked again so im not about to go look for trouble if you know what i mean. BMW lyf y0

  15. These are now sold. Thank you to all who enquired.
  16. Scrape really... Should change the description to, front pipe massaged to give extra ground clearance. When i got the back half of my exhaust done, I had the shop look at my front pipe, they actually said it was fine and wouldnt affect performance. This exhuast fitter has over 20 years experience.
  17. RB26 Aftermarket Dumps and Front Pipe Hi All Selling the following; - X Force dump pipes to suit RB26, stainless steel, divided type dumps. Came off a 32, will likely fit 33 and 34. - Aftermarket front pipe. Brand is unknown but is a quality piece. Made out of stainless and has a flex in it. Inlets are 70mm or just shy of 3". Outlet is 85mm or bit over 3.5". Mates up to the standard cat/exhaust position. Has a small dent on the underside to scraping. Has no effect on performance what so ever. If you think it does youtube Motor Trend Engine Masters Episode 4. What they do to headers is nothing compared to my dent lol. Prefer pick up, posting that front pipe would cost a bomb. Take the lot $400.
