i have an ebay bluetooth obdii reader that i use with a Torque app on my phone. does fault code reading and a bunch of other stuff. not bad for a few bucks lol its handy.

i wanted to go to this but my boy is only a week old. maybe next year

you arent going to save much in labour. just take the car there and get them to install and tune.

final result came up well. i just ordered a new nissan gear shift boot from rhdjapan. they didnt have an original handbrake cover tho i love that grex knob Velict. was on the hunt for one. ended up purchasing a nismo GT500 titanium lol

i would be inclined to take the workshops advice given they will be doing the work and tuning it. you currently have only basic mods so it would be plenty.

Bmws, beautiful cars. Dont buy 1 if you cant afford 2. The older ones more so than the newer ones. Not hating - i drive a bm. Just sayin

there will be a surge in original gtrs/people restoring to original. judging by some examples on the market it would be a good thing for the longevity of our cars. too many are hacked up pieces of crap - and i do agree with Sinista32. big single and power isnt everything if the car is a bucket. i thoroughly enjoy this thread from calaisturbo http://calaisturbo.com.au/showthread.php?t=107889 with the age and affordability of the cars these days, current tech and things like the Motive DVD GTR Challenge. the GTR scene is only just warming up.

yeah i believe my car has a ebay spec gear stick and handbrake trim. looks cheap AF. i will end up buying these new from nissan. i only have a small list to go until my interior is respectable. the item i can tolerate is the dash. its about 95% in good condition. i am tossing up between looking for a good original or flocking it. also tossing up between a genuine nardi deep corn or retrimming the factory gtr wheel.

Im always a bit dubious about ebay 'upgrades' like this. The interior is one of those things where if you dont spend the proper amount of money it really shows. Im in the process of tidying up my interior too. And spent a small fortune on renewing certain areas and im not quite finished yet. Just remember you get what you pay for and 'bolt on' is never quite what it seems
