If you have made up your mind what exactly are you looking for? You should take advantage of people selling power fcs. These days people are going haltech or emtron or something newer. Second hand power fcs can be had for under $500. Most importantly it plugs in. No cutting of wires like your safc. Thats cheap af for a full ecu. If you are budget conscious get a jaycar digital fuel adjuster lol seriously, there is no good excuse for getting a fuel controller with so many other affordable options these days. Z32. Piss off stock afm. Boost tap is cheapest option and it works. If you want incar adjustment look at an ebc. Makes no difference. Set the boost 14psi and leave it. Entry level and good hp/$. After that injectors turbo and front mount.

A lot of what you posted is junk. If you want to keep it affordable look at; Second hand power fc, new walbro pump with rewire, boost tee, any off the shelf exhaust used/second hand same thing, new z32 afm. Should be able to do that under 2k tuned.

Push to pull conversion

If you are putting in another push type then it will not be an issue -
Push to pull conversion
WantGTR replied to Shyboy's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
The 33 is a pull type box from standard. Unless its been converted to a push type. To change from pull to push you will need push type front cover for gearbox, clutch fork and master cylinder. This is the tricky part. If your box is a pull type it will need the holes for the push type master cylinder to be drilled and taped. To go from push to pull is a bit different. You will still need pull type front cover, pull type clutch arm/fork plus locking pin. Now master cylinder. A stock push type box will NOT have the bolt bosses for a pull type clutch. That said, all pull type boxes can become push type but push type boxes cant become pull. -

Tim's 1992 N14 SSS Build
WantGTR replied to TimmyMA70's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
it made 50% more power for $1400. cant beat that. Thats nitrous kit (NOS brand), 1st bottle fill, different spark plugs, bit of dyno time for correct jetting. -

Gas is just like the icing on the cake. A single fogger wet system is easy and cheap to setup. You can still have a crisp AF na screamer.... with an ace up your sleeve ? Having an n14 before i regularly check this thread lol -

So managed to get 1 run in at wsid before they cancelled the night got cancelled. 10.8 @ 140mph. Will try and get back out there and better the time. Launch was messy at 1.8 60ft. Overall ecstatic. 10s first pass. No prep. Decided i was going to race at 6pm after i finished work. Didnt even check tyre pressures or oil level. Opened the garage and drove to the track. With 140mph, theres heaps of room to improve the time. -
I wouldnt buy a cheap hose kit. After going single turbo i probably spent closer 1k for braided hoses and fittings by the time it was all said and done. Your gasket kit comes with new copper washers so as long as the stock lines are good id reuse those. Would also get a new exhaust gasket (block to manifolds). This is a great time to do dump pipes if you havent already. Hpi/tomei seem to be the go. Aparently split dumps are the devil lol.
