  1. If it leans out at high revs. an other fuelpressure regulator won't help. then it's most proberbly your fuel pump thats the problem. the problem is that it can't produce the fuel flow that the engine needs. Easy too check. Just fit a pressure gauge temporarly on the fuelrail before the reulator and see if the pressure drops at high revs. But what ever you do!! DON'T get any leakage and don't have the gauge inside the car!! Clamp it under one of the wipers. I promise you that you don't want fuel in your eyes. You go blind quite a while! Wiktor
  2. Ok thank you for the info. Very appraciated!
  3. Ok. But if i want the lumpyness att idle then So a set of cams some where around 260-270 degrees and around 8-9 mm lift?? How mutch lift can i have before a have to exchange valves or lifters? Have been told that 10mm is safe...? Do you got any other reccomendations regarding manifacturer or is HKS the "best"? And do any one what step HKS 280 degrees and 10,1mm lift makes for "step" in their list? Wiktor
  4. How about hks 280s then. will not run stock turbo
  5. Now its std. so it dosen't really matter how mean they are. then i'll build the rest around them... But preferbly no machinging of the head. And eaven power no extreme lag. its a "track"car. Wiktor
  6. Have been looking on HKS cams for the RB26 But would really appreciate if anyone have some other suggestions or comments!? And what step/degrees&lift that is recommended... Cheers Viktor
  7. 1 yes very probebly your boostcut. 2 check that the wg is working as it should and that no one have screwd on the rod from the aculator. but sometimes when you wg is too small to regulate the exhaustgases that will accure. easist way to fix in is to place a restricting/small pipe in the exhaust. or exchange the WasteGate 3 yes boost is not really interessting flow say's it all. so you can tun lean. Wiktor
  8. Thanks man! Clear'd it out.
  9. Hmm too bad cus the complete intake with plenium, throttlebodies and inled manifold just lie to no use in the garage. thougt i it would fit i could get rid of that stupid piping straigth over the engine an turbo.. but will the RB26 throttle bodies fit the RB25 Inlet manifold then.. Desperate to get down the intake temp. it's now really high. and sorry searched but could just find that the GTR plenium wouldn't fit nothing more specific. Wiktor
  10. Ok, will consider that to. any direkt links mayby ? =) Thanks man. Wery nice forum you lads have Wiktor
  11. I know that just the plenium wont fit (the bolt pattern is diffrent) but would a complete intake fit ?
  12. have you removed the flowrestrictor on the piping fron the master to the slave? it looks like a long pipe thats bolted to the floor under the driver side. the only thing it does is making your car easier to drive by making so the clutch dosent "bite" at once. remove it and i think your problem vill go away. Wiktor
  13. Yes it´s the only thing you have left if you havent blown your headgasket between two cyl's. or an extremly bad ign. plug. Wiktor
  14. You can count them on your hands it´s about 10. But this one is the nicest looking of them. And probebly the most well maintend of them all. Eller hur Klas?? (Means Rigth man?) Wiktor
  15. try removing vaccum hose to the wg. then try if your getting boost over 0,9 it´s your EBC. if not it´s probebly your blowoff valve just plug the hose´s and then try. but it migth be your ecu that´s cutting it too..
  16. just a tip. losen the engine bushings/mounts some turns and lean the engine down in tha back when you mount it back cus' it makes the job A LOT easier. Wiktor
  17. no offence taken. yes i know that it will take away all the grease in the bearing. but it was just ment as a temp. sulition. of coure you have to change it asap. Wiktor
  18. that with the pressure plate is not quite true. one of my friends has a pressure plate that handles over 1200nm in his R33. its not very hard to press down. and its still standard wisko clutch cylinders. but the 6 button clutch plate is quite harddriven if you slipping much on so it get´s hot. Wiktor
  19. if they squeak just put some silicone oil or grease on them. Wiktor
  20. why not? it's still not good for the turbine to get those extreamly fast stops and you get turbo lag that you dont need. this is not very good eigther cus' you will fri yo' cat to h*ll and it will cus' power loss due to higer backpressure in the exhaust. but if you remove it problem gone... Wiktor
  21. if it really bug's you. take a can of wd40 and a NARROW hose. modyfy the hose to fit the can then remowe the rubber protector on the gearbox housing and spray the MF thrust bearing. OR better get a really FAT exhaust 3,5'+ with only one damper and yo' probz will desapear... Wiktor
  22. Any std coolat is good then ther's racing type's but personally i wouldent buy them. ther´s other fun thing to throw yo' chash at. no you dont just check tha seal on the cap to C that's whole(if not CHANGE or your car will overheat when you put tour foot down) and also check the spring.
  23. Yes i need one bad. for mine R32 GTS. if any one have one im interested. Wiktor
