  1. 25GT-T is the correct name. It is the RB25DET Neo. This car is commonly referred to as the GT-T.

The 25 GT is the non-turbo RB25DE Neo engine. The common giveaway is the missing lower case 't' on the badge and the 3 gauges (boost, oil temp and battery level) in the centre console and of course the under bonnet differences.

There are both 4 door and 2 door variations of both but there is also a RB20DE 4 door that is the GT-X i think.

The last are the GTR's and of course the GTR Z-Tune which there are only 20 being made.

    Hope this helps

  2. Hi,

I would like to buy an R34 GTT factory airbox if anyone is willing to sell. I am willing to pay postage. Please PM me if u are willing to sell.

I heard that if I take my VIN to Nissan Australia, they can order one in, is this correct? Or, does anyone know of a parts place that would have one.

    Damien

  3. Hi all,

Just so my eyes aren't playing tricks, apart from the front and rear bar and side skirts from a standard GTR, is the body wider than the GTT?

Specifically, around the wheel arches and the rear quarter panels. Are they "phatter" than the GTT?

I have included these for reference: http://www.hkskylineclub.com/images/Galler...T/r34gtt062.jpg

  4. Ive had mine for 6 months and I love it. When I was getting it, I was faced with the dilemma of choosing between the 32GTR or 34GTT (similar price) but went the 34GTT and glad I did. In most cases, it should boast more reliability (as mine seems to have) and not to mention my scary fuel ecomony - 520km/tank on 98RON with City (inner Brisbane) driving.

  5. Well i had a great day despite the early mixup

(sorry for all those that followed me on a few laps i had no idea where i was going lucky i had a radio)

It was good to see so many skylines in a row whilst driving

I look forward to the next one

Btw just to clear up one thing despite the blue gt badges on my car it is a turbo have a look under the bonnet b4 you bag something out

Sorry about that. I thought you were going to overtake the commodore

  6. I've had my car running on BP Ultimate for 6 months now. The previous owner had used optimax and octane boost once a month. While I haven't reset the ECU, the cars running fine. It goes in for a regular service next month and as part of the service they will be dyno tuning it for road use...

  7. While I dont have a Baby turbo timer, i have the Apexi one, they did a really good job of running the wire through the pillar and mounting it right up the top right hand corner.

If u can get that done somehow then ur set. Everyone who has sat in my car has difficulty in finding the timer. If the sun shade is down, then there is no way to see the controller. There is hardly any wire visible because its all in the pillar and it spreads the gadgets out instead of having everything near ur knee or console.

  8. I know it wasnt worth going, thats why i didnt post anything here of it. I lived down the rd and past it, only 3 cars where there. He changes the details middle thread and doesnt edit his main post...

Hah, I was there me (34) and an R31. No one else turned up and we stayed until 9:15pm.

  9. I was in a similar situation to you. I had the choice between an 33 GTST and being able to mod it, a 32GTR already modified or a stock 34 GTT.

I went for the 34GTT given the fact the car was new. I know its performance was not going to be as fast but i have noticed the following compared to the 33gtst:

I get 550km per tank on BP ultimate doing City driving 5 days a week and not the most timid driving.

There is more pickup than most 33's out there but it seems 33's with simple zorst and intake mods can match.

My car is completely stock though.

  10. I have finally graduated to actually owning a Skyline now. My name is Damien Choy (but I'm not asian, im black) so if u see a white R34 GT-T with a personalised plate 'CHOY' and a black person driving, its my car and its not stolen. You'll see me around the south side or in the city. Hope to cyaz on the next cruise.
