  1. Where abouts?
  2. I went from a GTT (mild mods) to my GTR. Biggest thing was the weight and power delivery seemed a lot more linear compared to the very light shove in the back I got with the GTT. Haven't looked back though - as has been stated, 300kw is easier to achieve and will be stronger.
  3. If you consider the Mine's car, that ran 2.6L with 2530's (slightly more responsive to the -5's). Maybe look at what compression/specs it had. I know the videos were based on the fancy diff but still a hell of an engine.
  4. Hi Dan. I was advised to go drop-in 9.something lift 272's with adjustable gears when I had them - stock pistons though. From memory, the cams made ~300rpm difference. I only ever ran 18psi.
  5. I'm pretty much sold on getting the Super Turbo after hearing it in real life and seeing it isn't that restrictive. Were you able to get a power figure difference between the Tomei and HKS?
  6. Hi, we met at the recent GTR cruise. Chris who had one of the bay side blue ones has a Bride seat. Dan can put you in touch.
  7. This may help - knowing the inside so you know where you can apply pressure - maybe WD40?
  8. Try Coorparoo, Morning side and Greenslopes- should be able to get a place there reasonably priced and still quite close to the city and just follow Stanley rd/Vulture St to get to West End
  9. Can I get a pic of the freedom lounge?
  10. Hi, check out raas.com.au. They have a few of the wool store apartments around the Tenerife area - next to new farm and less crime than the Valley. I lived in one with my GTR, secured complex parking and pet friendly. Also the bus (199) goes straight to west end
  11. Hi, I'm in QLD but I thought the restraints/compliance process is national.
  12. Hi, If it helps, to pass compliance, my car just had to have the bars under the parcel shelf. I had to go back to get the holes puched through the speaker covers once I did fit a baby seat. My opinion is that you don't need the clips, just the bars underneath so no real modifications are needed to fith them. If queried, say that the bars are there and that for fitting the baby seat, the bolt needs to be put back in with a clip. I know in our other old car, we had to buy a bolt and plate regardless and it was an AU delivered car. Damien
