2 days after i got my 32, the battery ran out in pakenham, on the way to a mates place in essendon. went to autobahn and got a century high performance battery for it.. they gave me the exact model you got dude, terminals were huge.. took it back and the stock battery and they found it... could have a look for ya if you wanted to?

read above dude; in laymans terms, hicas wont turn on and the hicas block wont steer the rear wheels...

ever since i bought my r32, the passenger side seat belt was fine.. only problem with it is that it wouldnt retract the full way... now its gotten worse.. it feels as if the seatbelt roll has seized, and that it wont retract and you can even pull it.. so basically, unless your very fricken small/skinny, you wont be wearing the seat belt.. ive taken off the inner panel covering the seat belt roll, and it isnt tangled or anything, everything seems to be fine... i try to pull the seat belt to get some more slack, but nothing happens.... i pull as hard as i can and no slack is given.. how to go about fixing this guys? its shitting me as i usually drive around witha mate or with the gf.. cheers

you can pick up hicas lock bars for 30-120 bucks... i purchased mine from someone on here who makes them up with decent steel.. cost me 40 bucks if that... installation is a sinch, yet i havent done mine as i dont have a jack and stilts i would have no idea what hicas stands for, thats about it that i DONT know about hicas lol

ive been driving along at 110 one day, and hicas turned on(was travelling along the M1).. all of a sudden, had a *bump* where it felt like the left rear wheel tried to turn on a straight.. in other words, yes... ive driven along another straight at 50 one time, and the rear wheels started turning stupid hicas... old technology... henceforth while a lot of skylines owners get Hicas lock bars!

afaik, there is a slight difference in fitment between r32 and r33; r33 being a larger car then the r32.

go to the rear of the car and look under where the rear axel is. if there is a hicas lock bar in place, then thats the reason the light is continuously on. if there is no lock bar in place, then as said above, you either have low fluid or something isnt right.. if you want to drift, then get a hicas lock bar(thats if you dont already have it).. but if your going to use your car for other purposes, just leave it... it will only ever become a pain in the ass when your driving along at 110 and hicas turns on and it has a speed bump.. if anything, hicas can be a godsend if you want to take corners fast..

either that, or check inside where the lock is in the actual car frame, see if its still connected; when i had my alarm installed, the passenger side would lock. this was due to the locking bit where the clip on the door inserts into to lock the car.. in mine, it was disconnected/broken.. fixed it up with duct tape before i can get a new one(like 5 bucks if that off a wrecker)
