Try a long air dry. Acrylic doesn't usually go soft under heat I've found with my models. But my knowledge can be taken with a bar of soap. Maybe strip it all, High temp hard coat it red, then hi temp clear? Could be acrylic reacting with enamel (?) in the Hi temp paints?

I didn't. Nothing beats an old 1st gen RX-7 with a bridgeport and bib pipes. I am "not allowed to own one" because I "love" my neighbours. (According to my girlfriend, I don't like annoying other people - it's not like I TRY to annoy people by owning an RX7 with a 5 minute warmup symphony.) I want my old 1st gen back.

I can name four 1000hp Supra's running manual boxes that could be driven daily. And a few V8's making 1000hp+ on the street with manuals. Commodore going around with twins on it making 1200 rwhp, and he drives it everywhere no problem. That being said, a turbo'd V8 has more low end than a Supra or Skyline. AWD cars aren't usually modded to big power limits because A: More to Break. And B: Name an AWD car other than a Lambo, or GTR that is capable of producing 1000hp. (Very few I'd assume). The reason most 1000whp cars are RWD is because 99% of sports cars ARE Rear wheel drive. Just throwing it out there. But 500hp is plenty for street bragging rights. And upwards of 1000 hp is a bit ridiculous, only if you go to the drags every week is it worth it, other wise it's mostly a wank factor IMO. I'll just be happy cruising in a 280awkw GTR... LOL. $400 for the wheels with minor gutter rash, no buckles + good tread Yokohama Advan R1's. $300 for the Suspension, good condition, no leaks or anything. $400 for unknown exhaust, sure it is aftermarket, if not, then $250 for it if it is a stock one. $240 Drivers seat, good condition. $100 Space saver original spare. $50 Stock digital Aircon control unit, good condition, minor face scratch, a basic polish would remove it no problem, worked and lit up fine. $25 for original (?) Stereo + Plugs. $150 Stock intercooler - Good condition, not banged up, some bent fins, flows freely. $180 for BOTH stock GTR turbo's. $90 each obviously.. Seem in good condition, very minute play in the shafts "normal" according to a mate for a stock turbo that's seen 160XXX km. $160 for - Aircon pump in working condition, clutch fan, also in good condition, AC condenser in ok condition, with all brackets and bolts associated with them. $20 for Fan shroud on back of radiator, ok condition, a tab is broken, cheap as chips anyway, does bolt up and not move though. $50 for each of the stock AFM's, working fine when removed. Wheels and shocks together for $600. Kinda urgent, a bit slack on the rent due to having to fork out solicitor fees. They will be out of the car this weekend. From what I've seen the wheels and tyres are reasonable and the shocks being GTR stocko's are also decently priced, being they have no leaks. Aircon pump and bracket: One of the lines had to be cut, but easily replaceable. Clutch fan, and bag of bolts + brackets + lines. Feel free to come down and pick out what you want/need from the rest of the car, I AM NOT PARTING OUT THE WHOLE CAR, just the stuff that isn't needed when it all goes back together, and gets put on the road. Oh my god. He put LED tail lights in it. And white rims on it? OMFG. The black rims I had on it were Jap 3 piece 17's that weighed bugger all. Able to drop by and ask how much he wants for it?

Um, every R32 I have owned has had "I'm a flippy flappy sideways wiggle centre console lid - syndrome" - so today I pulled it out, put two spacer washers in and BAM fits snug. :-)

Ok, my girlfriend and I are at the police station, apparently what the cop told me I "mishead" - anyway a full report has been filed on the vehicle and I was given a lecture as to why I shouldnt be driving a turbo vehicle etc. When I explained that I had bought it to make a legal profit and that I had been suspended once before the officer told me the best they could do was put out a message for rolling officers as the rego had run out they couldnt go and get it because it was no longer in anyones name, therefor whoever holds it must own it. So there we go. They have a proper reason. I misheard and now they are doing what the can. Okey dokelz. We'll see what happens. Betcha they find it in bits or wrapped around a pole.

I actually would go beserk. Nothing for the last month and a half has gone right for me and its starting to eat at my nerves. :-| that was the officers explanation. My car was all 100% legal. No stolen history or anything. I think nsw police just hate me for no reason.

I am calling the RTA today to have them explain to me about why I got the points. I understand the fine side of things even though thats a friggin jip. I wanna know why I got butt humped. Ive never driven like a tool. I spend money on my cars. Im even to scared to hit the track because of the Money involved. I dont think anything can be done now. But Id lik to know what was going on. Ages ago now. Going for my greens here in NSW in the next two weeks, which means no turbos for me, already got an NA scooby anyway. Tommmay i asked around some mates thismorning and a couple said I could go to the RTA and retrieve a copy of the disposal from the last owner. Sign a stat dec and get it signed by a JP. As it was last regoed in NSW amd within the last five years I should be ok. But I had the full japanese histoy for the GTR and everything. Nothing is going right at the moment. :-(. Ah well. I didnt plan to sell her anyway. Lol. Back to the GTST. Someone said it was sitting just north of hornsby in a housing area in a culdesac, so im gonna go check that out thisarvo.

I do not hoon. I do not drive irresponsibly due to being in several car crashes when I was young. I was doing the limit, random RBT, I was completely cooperative, when the cops started trying to defect my car and I provided engineers reports, they started going ape shit at me saying I was being un cooperative and producing false evidence. Thus fined me taking no regard for my licence or car. You reckon 9 points even on a turbo on NSW p's is a legit fine? I don't. Last I saw it was 3 and 3 month suspension. Either way, I wouldn't have won in court due to the cops standing between me and the cruiser, thus no legitimate footage backing my side up. He was whinging about how he could be home with his kids instead of defecting "hoons" who were driving in rather decent traffic and had stayed in the same lane for 20 minutes. Said my car was against NSW regulations, etc, even though it was engineered in NSW. Tried to defect on height, wheel width, minor rust, slightly loose wing mirror, damaged window seals and a "dim" number plate light. I was in the right and have done everything right by the NSW and W.A police force. I got boned by an angry cop and was told not to pursue it by multiple lawyers. I got hit with a 2000+ dollar fine list. And as I had a NSW address the RTA issued me the points even though I had obtained my licence in W.A and had only changed my mailing address to NSW, not home address.

I lost ALL the paperwork for the GTR too. Is it still possible to register it due to being regoe'd before? Or am I up shit creek without a canoe this week?

Nope wasn't towed by council. Already went to the yard, it wasn't there and no notice has been issued to that plate. It HAS been stolen, and the reason I assume shattered bellhousing/gearbox is due to rather large shattered parts left on ground of said items where it was sitting. Guy across the road says two guys were nosing around in the the week it was taken late at night and were looking at my GTS-T, the GTR and the guy down the road's Celica. Lucky I moved the GTR inside the Garage on the wednesday as it had no plates and the alarm wasn't working. SOOOO lucky for that. Glad it was the GTS-T, not the GTR. But at the same time completely upset due to it being a car I paid for, and enjoyed. Cops wont do anything because of this reasoning: I quote: "We can do nothing to help you retrieve your stolen vehicle as the vehicle was an illegally owned vehicle and therefor being an object you obtained illegally, we cannot legally return it back to you." Last time I checked it was only illegal to DRIVE a turbocharged vehicle on P plates, not own one. Lazy f*$%ing c*%#$. This country continues to appall me. I wish it had just been the council. I'm seriously hating this. 8,000 bux down the crapper. If they had stolen the GTR and the cops told me in person they would do nothing to retrieve it - I'd be in jail right now. I pay my taxes and thus pay for the things they do, I should have a right to TELL them to obtain my vehicle back for me, not ask. Ah well, crap happens. Life continues. If anyone sees it on the streets or parts of it up for sale, please tell me. Parts listed in first post. And it was metallic black, not just black. Left door had two dents on the swage line, drivers side had a scratched up front edge due to rubbing the bent guard. FMIC was a cheap one as far as I know. Has the Aerial front window. Had HICAS lockout bar. Don't know brand. EDIT: If a black rolling shell pops up, the rear quarters were brand new, the blend of the paint was CRAP, and the left front sill is crumpled, rest is straight. I don't have the vin on any records either. :-( I know not much of this helps, but if stuff matching that pops up please tell me. Thanks guys, I hope I can get at least some of it back. Stolen two weeks ago. Cops haven't done ANYTHING. No parts have come up for sale recently. Rego: AJ70XK. Parts sellable: C BR series coilovers. Big brake calipers. FULL 3 inch GTS-T exhaust. GTR diff. FMIC. Whiteline Sway bars. Cusco Strut braces. All other parts are normal GTS-T parts. Pic: If anyone has seen it in the last week or two PLEASE tell me. Cops are not doing anything. Not insured, and rego ran out last month. Possible has a shattered bell housing due to being in gear when stolen. No glass or anything was found, alarm wasn't tripped so it was lifted and towed, as alarm wasn't vibration sensitive, just door set. Thanks everyone.
