  7. mines are also specifically tuned for the car they go on, ie specific mods. dont bother.
  8. intercoolers do drop boost pressure slightly, alot of people find their boost drops off with huge frontmounts... just wind it back up and pimpin32, 8kgs difference aint that much, im sure the increased cooling effect would be more beneficial, you can always do some weight saving modifications...
  9. chill man, The above few posts were about hybrid "copies", so I didnt think I had to state that I was not comparing trust to a hybrid, asif anyone would be that stupid to think there was a magical cooler factory where they all came from. Im not sure about now, but when the "copies" started to flood the market they did come from the same factory, alot of "fakes" come about this way, The factory is outsourced by the phatcat company and they simply fill the quota, then keep producing the product, and realease it unbranded.
  10. what paint did u use? spray gun or can? and did you clear coat it?
  11. they are made in the same place, so I wouldn't exactly call them copys. more like unbranded.
  12. et pulsar is 4x114.3, Im fairy certain, I had an aw11 mr2 which was 4x100 and the wheels were not interchangable
  13. well I decided I don't want to be a mac monkey, so I'm going to teach myself proper automotive illustration. This is my first attempt at concept work. sketched up a 1point perspective concept, not really based on anything, I just followed my pencil, rendered with markers and gouache. detail lacks abit because I was working small.
  14. dude tell us what car it was already....
  15. narrowband air fuel gauges are really only good for telling you the o2 sensor is still working...
  16. the wheels are only 16s so i dont know what hes tripping about, got stock seats on the way.

  18. yeah I think the place is just being hell tough because the rta is cracking down on dodgy workshops atm.
  19. ok then, I took my car in to get compliance work done, the engineer rang me this morning and told me they can't do it because the seats are too high, the bonnet is fiberglass and my wheels may be too big. Is that normal? I though for compliance all they did was put the bars in and do seatbelts and mirriors and that then write the certificate for the work they did? anyone else had problems due to modifications?
  20. if youre going to DIY do it properly, those DIY ones look like they'd cut ur leg up if they brushed you. theyre pretty easy to make good curved ones yourself using dry layup CF get some card, cut it to shape, lay some fiberglass mat resin carbon twill matt resin and a gel coat sand and polish
  21. im doing it on my ca18det, but I have to remove the radiator piping and the thermostat housing (i think) to access the second bolt. Is there a way I can clean it without taking it off? I.e spray carby cleaner into it where the vac line goes?
  22. im not a paying member and I can do attachments, there should be button called mangage attachments, underneath the text box when you go into edit or new post, open that up and you should be able too.
