its not boost leak nor is it fuel starvation. always keep minimum half a tank gas, the problem happens under normal driving also, and off boost. ill have to do a test and see if the hand controller shows anything/

Hi guys ive got this strange problem which has me stumped... car is an s13 with an rb25det s1, gt3040, z32, pfc. the problem is intermittent. it started happening after doing 2 drift days in a row, . I cant make it happen on cue, it just does it randomly, was happening every few minutes on the track, but didnt seem to happen on the freeway home. i will be driving, and all of a sudden the motor will be unresponsive, the revs will start to fall as the car slows down, and if i clutch in the revs drop off and the car stalls. if I press the accelerator, vacuum comes up to zero. but there is no response from the motor, it is not misfiring. its like its not firing at all. after about 20 seconds, the motor will suddenly kick back to life, and I can continue driving. a mate was following me, and he didnt notice any black smoke. any ideas on where i should start looking. thanks in advance

with MIG I always wipe down the panel with a wet rag between welds. helps keep the heat down and minimise distortion.

hi guys, anyone have experience welding stainless with a stick / arc welder? ive done tafe courses and can weld with MIG, Arc and Oxy, and was going to go on and buy and train to use TIG, but currently I don't have the space for a tig welder and bottle I want to make a simple tyre rack from stainless box section, and have been reading its possible to get decent welds with stick? would be good to also know if theres any special requirements for this, types of rod and current required. cheers

up for sale are a pair of r32 eastbear aero mirrors. they are genuine and electric, come with japanese instructions. condition is good, but they will need to be repainted. these are no longer being produced by eastbear, so they are getting harder to find. asking $320. pickup sydney or post. look similar to this..

leave the crossmember and gearbox attached drop it down onto a trolley jack... lift the front of the car up with an engine crane or block and tackle, it doesnt have to me super high... slide the motor and box out on the trolley jack.

the auto salon drift car had a bar that resembled a roll cage hoop in the boot. and I assume this was setup so the boot lid and ultimately the underside of the wing feet were pressed up fairly firm against this....
