  4. 100% its electric, this is my 3rd motor in this car, ive had to wire it a few times before. BeerBaron aparantly, nissan made different colour cogs with different numbers of teeth on them for different diff ratios. from like 16 teeth up to 21? i was skimming through an article today about it. so you could probably figure out the sender you based on how far out the speedo is, and the current cog. might be hard to find one tho. also you could use the jaycar speedo adjuster, its about $50 wires in right after the sender.

  7. hi guys, ive done an rb25det and box conversion to my s13. my speedo is reading about half of my actual speed, at first i thought this was a problem with the s13 speedo compatibility, but since the PFC is reading the same (r33 pfc). does that mean I have the wrong speed sender in the gearbox? as it was bought separately. thanks
  8. sorry to dig an old thread, but people have been using these for a while so im after some info... with the varex shut, and the gasses diverting through the muffler and out the small hole, does this provide too much of a restriction? and would this damage the engine? if i installed my varex i would have it shut 99% of the time, and only really open it up on the track, but i dont want to risk damaging the engine if i drive around with it shut day to day. my car is rb25det with 262rwkw. running a cheap china hot dog and cannon atm,

  10. hi guys Im after a single GTR turbo for a project im doing will also take a stock GTR manifold and dump if anyone has these lying around... dont want to pay heaps.. as they're going on a $1k car... lol let me know
  11. just a helpful tip for anyone attempting this. try and find some better suited foam. at college we used to use this blue stuff for product prototypes, which was quite hard, you could cut it, file it, even power sand it, real easy to get it really smooth. building a better plug saves time later on, as the fiberglass comes out a lot smoother and requires less work.

  13. hey guys, I found 3 of these in my shed left over from the last group buy. they are secondary bonnet restraints which are required at CAMS drift events, and possibly circuit events? Designed for stock bonnets/latches, easy and clean compared to pins. 30cm long, still enables bonnet to be partially opened for extinguisher access features covering over the whole cable, and ends, to protect paintwork high strength 7x7 multi strand stainless cable. comes with a free battery triangle sticker. can be installed without drilling depending on vechile, but 2 x 6mm holes is recommended. $35 posted anywhere in aus. pm me please

  18. just tracked down some more info on this shaft. was made by hardy spicer in moorebank with all new parts in 07. cost $600. was on a track car, has had minimal use. cheers
  19. have an rb20 topmount manifold, with external gate flange. Ive had new studs put in by a mobile thread guy. with lock nuts. no cracks. asking $180? pickup northern beaches sydney or can send via courier at buyers expense. reason for selling.. with big turbo fouled on my rb25 rocker cover.
