  1. Pardon me stupidness, what import scheme are the newer R32 (92 models), R33 and R34 cars using? How come we see so many (especially R33) Skylines around? Many thanks guys.
  2. Be careful of Power Rd Car Sales at Dandenong - the guy lost my driving licence! Moreover, I was testing their R33 and got stuck in the middle of the road because the car has only got very little petrol in it!

    Optimax Fuel

Does anyone feel that Optimax makes your Skyline run more "nosily"? I seem to find that my line revs slightly higher as compared to Mobil 8000 and BP Ultimate.
  4. Roy, did you have an engine oil cooler then? I was strongly advised to get them. If i don't have an engine oil cooler, how many laps can my std R32 Gtst take before it has to take a break? I am thinking of doing track. Just want to change the brake fluid to get myself going.... Thanks for your input. Cheers! :headspin:

    Thanks SAU execs

Yeap.... it has been nice to see the SAU Vic crew and some of its members... But I just wish that I could have been bolder to approach those I haven't really spoken to... Oh well, looking forward to the next meet! Cheerios, :ufo:

    Pocket Bikes

I think you guys should start wearing leathers man.... then, start to lean like Rossi... with knee... would look rather hilarious on photo :headspin:
  8. Be careful when buying electronic goods (eg. camera etc). There have been cases of dishonest shop keepers. Just look around before commiting a buy. Interested in car parts, check out this forum... it is however more catered for the S15 market though. http://forums.delphiforums.com/SilviaclubS...+Reading+%3E%3E Hope it helps. Happy Motoring :headspin:
  9. Sadly, I am piss poor!!!!! Still driving a beat-up R32....
  10. hey JapCab... I am a Singaporean.. and yes, the cars are very expensive... There is more of a variety here in Australia... Mod-up cars in Singapore appear mostly at night... So look out for them if you can. Are you there on a business trip? Go try all the local dishes at the coffeeshops... They are cheaper than Melbourne... Man, that makes me feel hungry. Enjoying sweating your balls up there man!!!
  11. BBQ during Banzai Battle at Calder ------> AWESOME!!!! :rave:
  12. try doing a search on the forums here... I think there are afew articles lying around... Btw, is there anything wrong with your AFM? My friend has a similar problem and had the AFM changed.... eveything was all right then... Happy Motoring....
  13. Yeap, I hope the diff official car club reps would be able to come together to discuss the "proposals" together with the governing body to ensure that the legislation is not going to be overboard.... it is kinda of scary (and stupid) that one has to think of how much to accelerate from stationary....!!!! Btw, maybe holden should become a role model - by making bicycles instead of cars.... :jester:
  14. looks wicked.... may i know where these pics are taken from? R these guys selling the kits in Japan? :headbang:
  15. Just don't take things for granted. Having a predictable car doesn't mean anything cos' road conditions change everywhere you go. Unless you are an experienced driver and have the ability to control the car in all forms of conditions (from oversteer to understeer), most likely you would end up in an incident. Happy Motoring!
  16. My sympathies to you dude! Ask your insurance company to look into it. at the same time, look around the "Sales" category of this forum - there might be some indicators floating around. No harm done anyway. Cheers.
  17. Sorry for the late reply. I am living in Brunswick East. I did not use the battery because i have no use for it. It was meant for my Exa. But my exa somehow is not working. Not sure how many plates there are as it is not written. But it is maintenance free battery. If you are still interested, let me know. Cheers.
  18. PM sent....
  19. Cool. Thanks... I will inform my friend.... He is the one wanting it... It is a stock AFM rite? Will get back to you later... me going for class now.... Cheers buddy....
  20. Anybody wants the above? I haven't use it since I purchase it on 28/06/04. Let me know. Cheers!
  21. Hi guys, I am urgently looking for the above mentioned. If anyone of you do have it, let me know.... Many thanks.... Cheers, :headspin:
  22. I totally agree.... how about getting those "card holders" which can clip to one's shirt? (hmm... sounds like a school orientation going on ) Cheers
  23. Hi guys, Just wanna enquire, if one is insuring 3rd party Property Plus Fire and theft, does NCB actually count? In addition, it doesn't seem that by getting 3rd party would allow one to have full coverage - market value is not agreed and JCI quoted only $5000 for my car. Any other insurance companies does 3rd party but give agreed value for a skyline? Any advice would be appreciated.
  24. I am a fellow Skyline driver who is interested in electronics. I am hoping that someone here can be my mentor or something since I am an amateur... (Well, we have got to start from somewhere... ) Or is there a club that I can join to share my interest? Any advice or input would be appreciated. :headspin: Thanks Cheers....
  25. Is it all right if i can have both the manuals? I am living in Melb. I can pass you a CDR if you want... What do you reckon? Cheers.
