  5. Air flow... it's all about how much air you can move and how fast you can move it. the more bends and twists and changes in pipe size will make a difference.
  6. I did a little bit of work at a detailers (Kims) a few years back. It's just patience and time. also a really fine grade steel wool (and windex) for the windows works a treat, but be carefull not to use it on the inside if you have tint! the Canberra Celica Group will be there, so i'll have the sprinter out if anybody is keen to have a look, also I'll have the camera out taking lots of happy snaps, just give me a yell if you need anything. J
  7. I received the following which is supposed to be a true story, if so what a find! A New York man retired. He wanted to use his retirement money wisely, so it would last, and decided to buy a home and a few acres in Portugal. The modest farmhouse had been vacant for 15 yrs.; the owner and wife both had died, and there were no heirs. The house was sold to pay taxes. There had been several lookers, but the large barn had steel doors, and they had been welded shut. Nobody wanted to go to the extra expense to see what was in the barn, and it wasn't complimentary to the property anyway......so, nobody made an offer on the place. The NY guy bought it at just over half of the property's worth, moved in, and set about to tear in to the barn.......curiosity was killing him. So, he and his wife bought a generator, and a couple of grinders.......and cut through the welds. What was in the barn...............? Go to http://www.intuh.net/barnfinds/afa70.htm and start wishing it had been you who bought the place.
  8. If i can make it, I'll be a flaggie i've been the Chock before........
  9. if you can find an AE86 for $500, let me know..... as the last time I saw a shitty rusted AE86 cheap, it was 2g.................. PLus an AE86 isn't as easy to drive as everybody thinks
  10. Depends on what sort of "track" wrok you planning on doing, drift, hill climb, Motorkahna.... All different. And different cars are better suited to different things. For eg, my AE86 is great at the hillclimbs and motorkahna. But it's not legal for the IPRA races as a few of the mods aren't allowed. So pick a class or a type of event you want to compete in, then build a car to the rules far that class or competion
