  1. Hi Adam, I ended up going with a twin plate jobbie from Direct Clutch Performance in Brisbane. No more slipping!
  2. Bloody good effort from Schumi - I think it's safe to say that Ferrari are on the way back. Still spewing about Webber's DNF, especially considering how well Rosberg ended up. I think Webber would have very easily finished 5th on a similar strategy (considering he was a fair way ahead of Rosberg when he retired).
  3. New clutch goes in tomorrow, so I'm tempted to race on Wednesday if all goes well. Although in all likelyhood, I'll probably spectate this week and give it a run the week following.
  4. JZX100 Chaser is an interesting one that's been crossing my mind lately as a potential 'next car'...
  5. I think Fisi had a case as JV got a 2 spot penalty for holding him up in qualifying session 2. Another DNF for Webber unfortunately (especially after his excellent start) - hydraulics this time apparantly Hopefully Kimi can come through the pack and prevent big head little man or Schumi from winning... Commercials finished -> Back to the race
  6. I'll be spectating at Compack Attack...hoping for a decent turn out of cars (and another look at Signorelli's Camrydoor).
  7. Webber qualified P10, but no doubt fuelled up since he will be taking an engine change penalty and will start from P20. Alonso on pole, then Schumi, Massa, Barrichello and Raikonnen
  8. I know this is a little off-topic for this forum, but thought I'd give it a try anyway... Can anyone recommend any free software which converts iPod (ie iTunes MPEG-4 audio files) to MP3 files? Thanks
  9. ...and even more amazingly, he's somehow made Takuma Sato actually look like a good driver. How that was ever possible, I'll never know.
  10. Good one LOL, there was one last week
  11. I also have a HKS cast low mount manifold on my RB25 (I know this doesn't help you, but thought I'd just post for general info) running a externally gated GT3040R (.7 cover). The turbo wouldn't fit with the standard engine mount in place, so we replaced the standard item with a new noluthane Z32 mount and the turbo fitted in nice and snug.
  12. A few links SEE HERE HERE HERE AND HERE
  13. Try doing a search - there's a million threads on this (particularly in General Maintenance and Forced Induction) For the record, I use Elf Excellium 5W-40 Full Synthetic In saying that, I think a fair few people on here use Motul 300V Chrono, 8100 Excess or 4100 Turbolight - there's many to choose from that will do the job. Do the search and figure out what suits you best. I guess it comes down to how much you want to pay, how modded your car is and how you use your car (i.e sunday driver, daily commuter or weekend warrior for example).
  14. Going Friday night - should be good
  15. Spotted SKZ01D on Andrew St in Meadowbank this arvo
  16. JD, I bought a dump pipe and hiflow cat off BATMBL a while ago when I had similar mods to yourself and found a noticeable improvement in power once I had them installed. The stock exhaust is very restrictive, so bang for buck, this should be the next mod on your list. Speaking from personal experience, I wouldn't go anywhere near the above mentioned workshop if you want quality work done...
  17. $65 Come on guys...I need an excuse to do an oil change!
  18. I think it's around 200-250 metres??? There's plenty of room to easily slow down provided that you lift off the throttle not long after crossing the finish line, but failing that, there's also a sand trap at the end of the track Good luck - have fun
  19. Ouch, that looks nasty...good excuse for bigger and better though. Good luck with the rebuild Just out of curiosity, what size fuel injectors were you using (or if standard, did you have a fuel pressure reg?) and what sort of fuel pump did you have??
  20. I think the only issue with Ferrari's tyres was the fact that they used up all their new sets during qualifying and had to put scrubbed tyres on their cars at each pitstop as none of the other Bridgestone runners had any problems during the race. I think they've definately improved, but Imola is a track that Ferrari have always done well at, so the next GP at Nurburgring will be a good indicator as to how much they have really improved compared with Renault and McLaren and whether they'll be able to challenge for more race wins during the season.
  21. Good to see Schumi back on top of the podium again (it's been a while between drinks for him), but I still can't understand how Renault managed to botch up the win for Alonso by bringing him in early for his 2nd pitstop. They wasn't a direct threat behind him even though Montoya/Massa etc were closing. They should have just waited for Schumacher to pit and then bang in a couple of quick laps and then they'd surely be in front after their stop. I thought Webber drove very well (not that we ever saw him - how shit was the coverage!), I think 6th is a good result for Williams considering they weren't all that competitive during the weekend. Button's incident was a joke, infact his whole career has been a joke - the way he's going, he'll destined to never win a GP LOL @ the stop FARKEN stick Bring on Nurburgring
  22. Spotted CYIFLY turning out of Penrith Panthers this afternoon
  23. Hahahahahaha - good one funny guy!
