  1. Same here I'm also in Sydney Thanks
  2. Any chance of getting anymore clear lid boxes for R33's? If so, I'll definately take one (PM me your details). Thanks mate
  3. Turbo's aside... Have you considered using an RB30 bottom end? If I ever had to rebuild my engine, I'd seriously contemplate going that way as the RB30 bottom end should definately give a much broader power band than the RB25. Add in a GT30 or GT35 turbo (with the usual supporting mods) and 320rwkw should be a formality. The bonus being that the power is usuable over a large part of the rev range as opposed to having peak power at the top of the rev range and not much else for the rest of it if you had the same power with the RB25.
  4. I used to think that 300+ would be pushing it with the 0.63, but after seeing Wilchs results in the rb25 dyno thread - i.e mid 270's @ 16-17psi with a .63 GT30R on rb25 w/std internals (I think?) - I guess 300 could be possible with a little more boost and a rebuilt engine. I think it was a HKS3040R from what I remember when I was researching a while ago (may be wrong)
  5. The Garrett GT3040R is rated is 600hp. SEE HERE I also forgot to mention that i have the 0.82a/r turbine housing, so I guess you could go for the 0.63a/r if you wanted less lag, although power would come on like a light switch which would make traction a bit of a problem. The 0.82 is nice and progressive.
  6. 320rwkw shouldn't be difficult to achieve with the HKS3040R or Garrett equivalent provided you do have a built engine. I think there are a few people on here who can personally vouch for that... I've got a GT3040R on my R33 making around 280rwkw on 17psi (see dyno graph below). I've only got a std bottom end, so I haven't really pushed the limits of the turbo too much at this stage, but there's definately potential to make a lot more power. Obviously it's not going to be as responsive as your current set up, but full boost by just over 4000rpm isn't too bad when you making approx 300rwkw. Hope that helps
  7. I have a stock fuel pump from a '97 R33 GTST - it was still working fine when I removed it (I only replaced it as I upgraded my fuel system to support my turbo upgrade). PM me if you're interested.
  8. I've got one (located in Sydney). PM me if you're interested.
  9. Taken from RTA Webpage Second-hand vehicles (interstate) To establish registration for a second-hand vehicle purchased interstate, you will need to go to a motor registry and provide: *Proof of your identity (see related link above right) or, if registering the vehicle in the name of a company, proof of company name and the ACN/ARBN number. *Proof of acquisition (eg a receipt for purchase of the vehicle, certificate of registration signed by the previous registered operator/s of the vehicle, or the previous certificate of registration in the same name if coming from interstate). *Proof of your residential address (see related link above right). *A valid Compulsory Third Party insurance policy – also known as a green slip – with the number plate section blank (not required for trailers). *An inspection report – also known as a blue slip – from an Authorised *Unregistered Vehicle Inspection Station (AUVIS). If there is no AUVIS in your area, you can get a pink slip from an Authorised Inspection Station (AIS) instead of the blue slip. *Your interstate number plates – you'll have to surrender your interstate plates before you'll be given NSW plates. *Evidence of eligibility for any concession (see related links to Pensioner concessions and Apprentice registration rebate above right). *A completed Application for Registration form. *Payment for registration, including stamp duty (3% of the vehicle's purchase price, 5% if more than $45,000) and applicable number plate fee. All second-hand vehicles requesting establishment of registration (including interstate and imported vehicles) may be selected for an additional inspection by the RTA's vehicle identity unit. You will be notified at the time of registration if you are selected.

  14. Did you receive my PM mate?
  15. I was a passenger in a car that got t-boned by a P-plater who went through a stop sign when I was down in Victoria last week. The stupid girl was too busy playing with her mobile phone to bother stopping at the stop sign while crossing a highway. End result is that my g/f's parents car got written off and we were very lucky not to be seriously hurt. Stop signs are there for a reason mate. I think you're getting off lucky with a 3 month suspension...
  16. Count me in as well
  17. It's been canned for tonight - apparantly the storm cause some sort of damage at the track
  18. Yeah, I heard about that as well. Apparantly it happened during the supercruise last night - pretty sad I left before that happened though, so other then hearing about that, I had a pretty awesome day I do feel sorry for the people getting pulled over at the defect station on the way down from Sydney though. There were heaps of cars in there when we passed by. It shits me how the cops/rta/epa try to profiteer from these sort of events. Fair enough, defect people for obviously dangerous things, but they were throwing the book at people yesterday for ridculous things obviously trying to do a little revenue raising. My brother got a $500 defect for having a loud exhaust which is ridiculous as his car isn't that loud at all. Apparantly the officer shoved the microphone right under the exhaust when I thought they were supposed to be 3 feet away? Also saw a stock looking black 33 (with Vic plates) with bonnet up getting harassed by the cops. Hope they didn't give you too much grief mate...
