I've done 6 or 7 runs in the thing since I got it back last month and I've got 12.7** @ 114-115mph on all but 1 run. I'd love to figure out where I'm loosing the time as my mph indicates that I should be running a fair bit quicker. Hopefully it's just my driving lol

I also only ran a 12.7 @ 115mph which was pretty dissapointing to be honest...I've seen others run low 12's with similar set ups which kinda indicates to me that there's a restriction somewhere (i don't think it's my driving as I did a 12.9 with the std turbo previously) R31 Nismoid, do you have a dyno graph from your previous set up? Not quite - Newey was signed up by Red Bull The Alonso defection to McLaren is an interesting one though. Apparantly Flavio Briatore (who's also Alonso's manager) had nothing to do with the deal, so I'm thinking there's probably going to be some resentment towards Alonso within the Renault team which might make his job a little difficult next seaon. That is of course unless both Renault and Alonso are trying to smoke screen the rumour that Renault are pulling out of F1 at the end of next season. Hopefully that's not the case, but who knows? Another interesting question is who will be Alonso's teammate at McLaren in 07??? I'd bet money that whoever it is that has to leave McLaren will probably end up at Ferrari replacing Schumi if he decides to retire after next season... Should be another interesting season

Agreed. I told them I was a financial SAU member and they insured me no questions asked. Their quote was the cheapest, their excesses and agreed values are relatively fair and they give you a pay by the month option (for no extra cost). I'd say it's wishful thinking that the quality of some Sydney roads will ever be improved. For a main road into the city, the state of Parramatta Rd is disgraceful. I also got a buckled rim from hitting a huge mother of a pothole in my Prelude a few years back (I was following another car and didn't see the crater till the I was on top of it). Needless to say, I wasn't impressed when I had to fork out $200 to get the rim replaced. I felt like sending the bill to the RTA.
