All other fluids replaced every 10,000kms, timing belt has also been replaced. I wash and maintain the car very regularly and it's always garaged when not in use. Nothing has been left to chance on this car. I bought the car stock standard (aside from cat back exhaust) nearly 4 years ago and have purposely selected and overseen all modifications made to this vehicle. All modifications have been carried out by MRC Performance, Castle Hill using the highest quality components and parts. If something wore out or I thought it needed replacing, I replaced it with the best. I'm a mature, enthusiast owner who has maintained and treated this car with the respect it deserves. The car has been tastefully modified to ensure it remains extremely streetable, yet moderately powerful. It's never been thrashed on the street (in fact, I've never received a speeding fine in this car), although has the potential to be a big performer on the track as evidenced by the 11.9 1/4 mile time achieved at WSID. This car will not dissapoint. You could not build a car of this quality for the price I'm asking and you'll go far to find another example in such good condition. Please call or PM me to arrange an inspection - test pilots need not apply and test drives will only be offered to serious buyers.
  2. Enlighten me. Kudo's to you mate. That's great that you got to meet Schumi and Alonso and I for one would be quite envious of such an opportunity. We've all read the story though and the fact that you got to meet the drivers says more about the piss poor security in Japan than anything else. It doesn't make you any more or less informed about F1 than anyone else who has access to the internet. I met Valentino Rossi at the Aust GP (he even signed a helmet for me), but it doesn't mean I'm a motogp expert...or does it??? Anywho, I don't normally bother with this type of banter (must've been an alcohol inspired moment last night), so I'll cease here to prevent this from degenerating further. Carry on
  3. LOL, you really don't like Alonso do you... My 'dribble' comment was solely directed at the way you carry on about anything to do with Alonso (or Hamilton for that matter). I'm no Alonso fan, but your head is so far up the Mclaren/Hamilton proverbial, it's blurring your vision and it's getting a bit old. As for where Alonso will end up next year, if it all came down to dollars, then I agree that Toyota would be the most likely choice. That being said, I doubt FA is short of a dime and he'll be relatively well remunerated wherever he ends up, so I'm not entirely convinced that this will be the determining factor for him when deciding which team to join in 08 (may be wrong?). Renault is familiar, he knows how the team works and he'd be a clear "No. 1" driver - it's everything FA would crave. Additionally, Renault were one of the first teams to abandon development of their 07 car in order to concentrate on their 08 challenger, so i'd expect that they'll be more competitive which would also appeal. You mention that Flav hasn't been able to 'seal the deal'. Has any other team sealed the deal??? Negotiations take time. Give it another week or two and I dare say it'll become very clear where he's going to end up. At the end of the day, I was solely offering an opinion (as opposed to regurgitating info off other F1 websites). Regardless, I'm sure it'll be a very interesting few weeks to see where he ends up and the flow on effects for the other remaining drives that are still available Now, back to the Arsenal v Man U game
  4. According to the CAMS website, apparently it was the navigator (and not the driver) that passed away - Article Here Very sad news - condolences to the family
  5. Man, you talk a lot of dribble... Alonso free to sign for any team...(if his manager's to be believed) - Article My money's on him returning to Renault in 08.
  6. Any chance you were driving around Meadowbank yesterday arvo around 5 - passed a similiar looking R34 GTR on the railway bridge (car had yello plates I think, didn't catch them though?). Would've given a nod, but was too busy drooling lol Nice buy in any case.
  7. You need a helmet, long sleeve shirt/pants, rego papers - it's all on the WSID website. Cheapish helmets are available for around $100-$150ish upwards from Motorcycle Accessories warehouse on Church St, Parramatta. There are other places you can go if that's not local for you. Do a search on the forum, there's been a few threads about helmets etc before. I'm starting to regret going away for the weekend lol. Would've liked to take the car out for a run again
  8. Nothing exciting for me... Just a hand drawn map with Japanese scribble all over it and an Osaka train time table in the sunvisor pocket.
  9. Thanks for the insight If the car is street registered (which was only an assumption), i'm sure it's engineered, so I'm sure there's no problem...
  10. I've been driving for a fair while now and I've slowly witnessed a progressive change in the attitude of p-plate drivers. No longer does a day goes by when I don't see an act of sheer lunacy or stupidity on the streets and i'd conservatively bet that at least 50% of these instances involve p-platers. That's a significant amount when you consider that p-platers don't make up the majority of total drivers out on the road and i'd say it's progressively getting worse. Couple this with significantly easier access to performace vehicles for younger drivers (prior to the recent rule changes) and you've got a recipe for irrational behaviour. Sadly this often results in injuries, mangled cars and fatalities when things go wrong. Sure the media hype up any incident that involves p-platers and/or modified vehicles and elements of the truth may be twisted or sensationalised to 'shock' readers or viewers, but at the end of the day it still doesn't change the fact that these incidents happen in the first place. Unfortunately, this seems to be the only time when lessons are learnt and quite often it's too late. So, to repeat a few well worn cliches - slow the f#$% down and save it for the track.
  11. 'DRAGME' are the car's number plates, so I assume it's still street registered in Qld
  12. It's the same story everywhere - every second p-plater with a performance car treats the streets as their own personal racetrack. The message never gets through till it's too late
  13. Saw the run - very impressive. Even so, I thought it looked a little lazy off the line, so definately agree that there's more in it. Pity the weekend was so shithouse. I'm sure the ET would've improved with another run or two.
  14. Me three. Seriously though, what sort of response does this guy expect? This is about the 3rd or 4th time this tool has posted up seeking advice to deal with his excessive speeding problems, yet you'd think he would have heard it all before. The answer is the same everytime. Yes, you're an absolute idiot; yes, you're going to do time; no, you won't get your license back till 2085 and...don't drop the soap. Just in case none of this has sunk in, please do everyone a favour and stay the f#%k away from driving a car...period.
  15. What a rubbish weekend Spent a heap of cash to go up to Bris for the weekend to watch Jambo with the Mrs, only to write off Sat with rain and today with some freak track problem. Also a bit annoyed that I couldn't redeem my Sat ticket on Sun given I would've been lucky to see 90 mins of racing on Sat which is nowhere near a full day of racing in my books. Understand the safety first approach today and it was to right decision to cancel if the track isn't safe, but still dissapointing all the same, especially for the poor bastard who wrote off his R100 and for everyone who travelled to the event. That's racing I guess...
  16. Where's my time machine...
  17. Around $250ish from memory - sometimes cheaper if they have blemished stock on hand i.e tread is fine, although logo or printing on sidewall may be scuffed - no big deal

Assume most of you guys are using drag radials? If so, what tyre pressure are you running? Drop them down to 13-15psi if you're not doing so already. Add in a decent burnout (2nd gear) and launch the car by slipping the clutch from 5000-5500rpm (2rismo assured me I wouldn't break anything by doing this and I'm happy to say I haven't done so yet ) and you should see an easy 1.8** 60' time or better. Takes a bit of practise and I've stuffed it up enough times to know, but when done right, there's nothing stopping you from dropping all the way to 1.6** 60'. Save a tenth at the 60' mark and you should drop at least 2 tenths off your ET
  19. I get mine from Rocket Industries in Huntingwood (SEE HERE). Get yourself a set of Z32 300zx rims (cheap as chips) - the 255/50/16's fit perfectly.
