  1. They need Alonso to record a few DNF's if Kimi's going to have any chance of claiming the world title.
  2. It's a shame as Webber looked like he had decent pace for the first time in a while. He put good passes on both Red Bulls in the first few laps, although i'm sure the Red Bulls were carrying much more fuel given how far they went into the race. Would have been interesting to see how both Webber and Heidfeld went if they didn't keep having blow outs on the right rear. Definately a set up problem, but you think Williams would have got it right for race day considering the same thing happened to Webber during Saturday morning practice. FFS, get your act together WILLIAMS!@!@!
  3. You're in Sydney right? If so (out of curiosity), where are you getting all the work and tuning done? I'm interested in your results as I'm looking at going down a similar path with the GT30/40R
  4. The Miss Wicked Wednesday pics are in there as well mate...you just have to look for them
  5. Yep, he's signed on for 06. Seems like Sato is on his way to the F1 scrap heap (unless Button goes to Williams).
  6. I hope Rubinho will also prove how overated Jenson Button is by handing him his arse on a plate (provided he stays with BAR that is). I'd love to see that
  7. Thanks mate My current mods are: PowerFC EBC FMIC 3" turbo back exhaust Splitfire Ignition Coils K&N panel filter HD clutch I was running 0.8bar (12psi) boost. Good luck with the 12
  8. Badger Photography Drift Kings ;)
  9. Going by the plates, i'm guessing that the R33 would be Mik.
  10. I got 7 runs in - definately a good night to be competing. There was a good representation of Skyline's - noticed a few GTR's (incl CYIFLY and Mik?) and the usual array of GTST's. Thanks mate - it was a good feeling to finally get that 12 I was using BF Goodrich drag radial tyres. I think I pretty much just dumped the clutch from 5000rpm on that last run and the tyres just hooked up perfectly. It was the best 60" I've ever done
  11. Sorry for the slightly off topic post. For those that have GT30's, did you use a hi or low mount manifold? I know both have been done, but is there any benefit to either the low or high mount manifold set ups? Also, I've pretty much decided on going with the GT30/40R on my RB25. I currently have the following mods (either on the car or ready to go on the car): PFC, FMIC, EBC, 555cc injectors, bosch 040 fuel pump, Z32 AFM, Adj Ex Cam gear, 3" exhaust with hi/flow cat (i'll be getting a new dump pipe made up). I'll also be getting a Tial 38mm wastegate once the turbo goes on. Is there anything else I'd need to run say approx 270rwkw? Thanks guys - and apologies again for the off topic post
  12. From what Mark was telling me, I think it was around $6.5k...I'm not sure if that also included the hi-flow turbo??? Suspense will be able to clarify.
  13. I'm happy to say that I cracked a 12 with the Std turbo on my final run at WSID tonight ET: 12.993 @ 104.40mph (60" 1.777) After so many 13.1's and 13.0', it was good to finally get there Also ended up winning 3rd in the reaction time competition, so a bloody good night all round
  14. All paid up
  15. Silver Toyota Cressida with a 1JZ-GTE...i think
  16. White R33? I think I saw your car at MRC when I was there a few weeks ago getting a few things done. Glad to hear that the results are good. I can also vouch for Mark. He's a very easy going, down to earth bloke who does good work for a reasonable price.
  17. Spotted 2 Skylines (Grey R32 GTR and a Black R33 GTST) on Victoria Rd, Rydalmere heading towards James Ruse Drive yesterday evening around 6ish. Anyone on here? I was following just behind both of you in the silver R33
  18. I'm in mate - may have a few others tagging along as well I'll pay up next week.
  19. Totally understandable, no worries there. I just wanted to keep the communication lines open as I wasn't sure if my PM's were being sent/received due to the forum upgrade. Alex has been easy to deal with so far, so I'm sure I'll hear back from him in due course
  20. Hi Alex, Not sure if you got my PM (I know my inbox is full due to the new forum software), so I thought i'd just post up here in case you didn't. I deposited the money into your account over a week ago, but didn't receive a confirmation of my deposit or expected delivery date from you. I just wanted to know when I can expect to receive the shift knob. If you could get back to me, that would be great. Thanks mate.
  21. I also received mine - Thanks Paul
  22. Very nice result - well done mate What time are you aiming for at WSID tonight? Good luck
  23. Spotted White 34 GT-T (OO-34-OO) on James Ruse Drive, Rosehill this morning around 8.30am
