Nengun is your friend I'm just about to purchase some Nismo 550cc injectors from then for just under $900 delivered (allow for GST/Duty etc just in case your shipped gets pulled up by customs). I've shopped around a fair bit, but haven't found anything cheaper.
-
Once you include the cost of the collars, the Sard ones are no cheaper than the Nismo or HKS injectors. I'm not sure if there's any difference in performance between the 3 brands, but I'd think the Nismo or HKS ones are much less of a hassle to fit.

You and me both - I just finished changing my plugs and installing my new Splitfire coils on Saturday. I also received my adjustable exhaust cam gear and z32 afm in the post late last week, but don't know if I'll have time to get them fitted before the drag day. Oh, did I mention that I noticed a nice puddle of green liquid under the car this morning:( I don't think it's too serious though, hopefully it's just a loose clamp on a hose. Just wish I had another week - ah, bugger that! I'm still excited about Sunday. Should be fun

I'm pretty sure you also need injector collars for the Sard injectors - they're not a straight fit.

Just to clarify, an SSL licence is for all competitors that run 10.99 or slower, but faster than 11.99. Is that right?

Yeah, I agree Webber is reasonably good on light fuel...provided he's not stuck behind a Toyota of course. It's just a shame that he got taken out on the 1st lap as I think he would have easily upstaged Heidfeld during the race and possibly battled for a point or 2. I really hope that he's able to bag some points in the next few races to get in front of Heidfeld again from a credibility perspective. Everyone know's he's got the ability to drive well, it just seems like he hasn't had any luck or a decent car for the majority of the year. Additionally, to be practically slowest through the speed trap just highlights the huge aero problems Williams are having. BMW have had a reputation for building strong, powerful engines for the last few seasons, so I don't think the cars lack of straight line pace can solely be due to the reduced engine performance. I guess that's the price you pay when you have an ex-Ligier and Minardi bloke as your head aerodynamisist...I wonder how much Williams would have to pay to get a Adrian Newey or Pat Symonds to come on board.

It was a bit hard to see, but it looked like Webber was hit by Sato attempting another one of his bonzai overtaking stunts at the start. Heidfeld finished out of the points (10th or 11th I think). Despite their qualifying results, it doesn't look like Williams have made any progress at all. Going on Heidfeld's very early stop, it would be fair to assume that Webber would have also been as light as a feather on fuel. Just to reinforce that they had no pace, Heidfeld fell away badly after he stopped for fuel. Also, is it just me, or is Alonso getting on everyone's nerves? I mean seriously, is there any need to hold 6 fingers aloft for the whole warm down lap??? I think we can all count how many GP's he's won this year (although, it may be more interesting to note how many he's inherited from Raikkonen's misfortunes as well).

Doubt the food stalls will be open for such a small amount of people, but apparantly there will be a BBQ

Mid to low 11's I believe (at least from what I've seen and read), although I think a 10 is on the cards if they can get it all together for a decent run.

You might have missed this Satanic

You're joking right  I still find it hard to believe that they'd just stop publishing a magazine without even mentioning it in the last issue. Surely you'd think if they were winding it up, they'd at least finish with a bang and super final issue. Hopefully it's just a rumour - I'm still owed 2 more issues on my subscription.

Tell me about it...that carpark was nuts. I had to do 3 point turns to get down the ramps between each level. Speaking of tight, I also saw a gunmetal (?) 33 in the carpark that was wedged between a pole and an inconsiderate 4wd that decided it wanted to share it's car spot. I would've been a bit worried leaving my car there...I hate parking next to 4wd's.

We were there - also saw a heap of Skylines (and a Ceffie) in the carpark We came down to the restaurant/bar during the evening to see if we could find anyone, but not knowing anyone from a bar of soap made it a little difficult. We ended up going somewhere else to eat anyway as we couldn't get a table in any case. Next time...

This was the first SAU event I've attended/participated in and I have to say that it was pretty impressive. The organisation was top notch, all participants seemed to be acting responsibly and I think it did a lot to portray a very good image of Skyline enthusiasts to the general public. So congrats to all the organisers and everyone who participated/attended on a job well done Now where are the rest of the pics???

Sunday 31st July. I think each competitor can bring 3 spectators and 2 pit crew as long as they're named to the organisers prior to the event...

Click Here - 5th item on the list Probably best to give them a call first, just to make sure they're actually there as it wasn't listed on the carlovers.com.au website.

Shit eh! That's a shame as it was one of the better car mags out there. Hmm, I wonder what happen's with my subscription to Speed now

True, but getting up at 7.30 is a whole lot more appealing than getting up at 5.30

:werd: We booked our accomodation in at the Sebel Citigate yesterday

I've decided to go up on the Saturday and stay overnight instead...i'm not a morning person

They might not even beat Red Bull soon they way they're going. Heidfeld had his mirrors full of RBR for most of the race and he only initially got past Klien because he ran off the road trying to put a pass on Webber

If only No need to let the fact that Renault are majority share holders in Nissan get in the way. I'm sure they could overlook the slight conflict of interest As for the race, good on JPM for finally getting on the podium and cracking it for a victory this year. It was nice to see him actually keep the car on the island and not throw away a good result for a change. I also thought Alonso raced well, but I was dissapointed for Fisi when he stalled it in the pit lane after his last stop as he drove a great race and probably would have passed Alonso if Renault didn't bring him in first (perhaps team tactics played a part there to ensure Alonso got maximum points). As for Williams, the less said the better - they were pitiful and it looks like the slide is only going to get worse for the rest of the year

So has anyone actually decide to stay up for the night? I hadn't noticed this thread previously, but thought it seemed like a much better idea then getting up at the crack of dawn on a cold winter's morning to drive up. I've had a quick look on wotif.com and the accomodation prices are pretty reasonable, so I'll probably book something later today (once I actually send my entry form in ). If anyone's interested in catching up on the Sat night for a few drinks and a bite to eat, let me know. This is the first time the misses and I have come out to one of these events, so it would be good to meet up with some of you guys beforehand and put some faces to the names.

I'm pretty sure I'll be entering as well. If so, I'll also meet up with you guys at Thornleigh and drive up with you if that's cool.

Spotted the High Performance Imports R34 (HPI-34T) stuck in a shitload of traffic turning off Victoria Rd onto Silverwater Rd this morning.
