How much dry ice do you guys reckon i will need to remove the sound deadening from my R34 GTR? There does not appear to be much in the car anyway but dont want to run short. I was going to organise 20kg. What do you think? Cheers Matt

Hi Guys, Hoping some of the brake Gurus can help me out here. I am about to purchase calipers for my GTR rear brake upgrade and have been looking at the Ap 5000+ series of calipers. Now the only suitable caliper for the rear (4 x 38mm pistons) accepts 295mm rotor maximum. I would like to run 343 or a min of 330mm. Now the 7600 series of caliper (used in the Ap Formula kits and the like) has virtually the same dimensions/pad number etc as the 5000+ and also suggests that 295mm is the biggest rotor it can accept. If this is the case how are people running larger rotors. Is it another part number being ordered or are they just running the larger disc. I have printed out the technical drawings from the website and cant find anything to help me. Could someone please shed some light on this before i order becausr i dont want to end up with calipers that can only run this smaller disc. I have also put this question to AP but have no response as yet. Im going to try and organise a trip over on the 17th and 18th so will let you guys know in the next few weeks if i can make it all happen. I run Advan 048 at the moment and have been ok. Will probably go to RE55 when i get my TE37 i ordered. Also i run Racebrake RB74 pad and had no issues at Mallala which i am told is fairly hard on brakes. I think my next upgrade will be a engine oil cooler and filter moval kit to make oil changes easier and keep the car a bit cooler. Hi, I have recently bought a new R33 GTR and have been getting into track days and now sprints in the GTR at Mallala here in SA. However i want to have a crack at some other tracks and really want to drive Phillip Island. I was looking on their site at the calender and there appears to be only one or two open days for cars all year. Is this the case or is there another way to get out there. I have 3 weeks holidays in June and want to head over. Also i was lookinig and it says that you need a national circuit licence to get on. Is this true as i only have a L2 speed licence. Feedback would be much appreciated as keen to give the GTR a run somewhere different whilst i have some time off. Cheers, Matt
