  1. I know these aren't worth much but if for some reason anyone wants a pair I've got them sitting up in the garage . Pickup in Sydney only email [email protected] private message cheers
  2. Not too bad for an old man jerry :Pimp2: . I was confident that you would be able to do a 12 now bring on the mods .
  3. I'm pretty sure the 34's are the only ball bearing ones. Hey still don't want to sell your wheels ?

  8. Voona have your cam timing checked it is in alot of cases the cause of a low performing GTR that doesn't do anything wrong just has no power and response .
  9. Yes you are correct I certainly wouldn't but from personal experience they turned my car into a new one and thats all I can go off I soppose . With the wonders of the internet and performance car forums like these opinons are like ass holes everyone has got one and I've heard good and bad experiences about every shop mentioned in this thread . At the end of the day I soppose I'm just another ass hole with an opinion and a good story to tell
  10. wow on std internals that is doing well soppose you can't ask much more . Since the Bel tune the car has only been on a dyno once and a full power run wasn't done 2wd dyno dynamics in shootout mode I have a print out here for 275rwkw by 4500rpms 1.2bar boost think of that what you will but I haven't taken that figure seriously. Out at WSID last year on a 30deg evening with a slipping clutch (excuses excuses I know lol ) went 11.9@115mph with a 1.9 60ft . Going back out again soon with a set of aftermarket dumps a twin plate and maybe 1.3bar hopefully can trap 120mph if so I'll be happy cause in my opinion thats fast enough for a car that is driven to and from the track in full street trim , famous last words I know .
  11. At the end of the day I soppose you can't go too wrong with either tuner . Another one of my pet hates is people who think they are on another level to everyone else which is the feeling I get from CRD every time I have walked into the place unless you are willing to empty your pockets. I soppose they need to do this though to sort out all the time wasters that come with running such big well known performance shop .
  12. Not wanting to start a shit fight here but is it not true alittle while after replacing the factory ecu that the engine failed ?.
  13. hey Kabab you got a GTR now ?
  14. They will tune it on the road no need for a dyno if anything Ben may suggest that he touch up the top end on a dyno becuase of the speeds on the road . I have same amount of mods as you bar the cams and I'm running 2530's which are alittle bigger then gt ss and my car was tuned 100% on the road with no problems by Ben . Your looking at around the $400 mark which is good value I remember CRD wanted $1200 when I rang them . The boys at Bel spent about 2hours on my car at no extra charge before they even began tuning to make sure everything was spot on . CRD are good and have the runs on the board but they know this and they are alittle on the expensive side . I was doubtfull and unsure about taking my car to Bel's when I was looking for a tuner specially with the whole road tune thing but I'm glad I did in the end . It's your call at the end of the day but I suggest you go and talk to both before making a decision .
  15. out of interest what have they set your cam wheels at ?.
  16. not the owner of the car
  17. Another vote for Ben at Bel's here . Like wrxhoon peak power figures aren't the most important thing . My car was originally tuned by one of the above made 268rwkw on a 2wd dyno dynamics after the boys at Bel worked there magic it now makes 275rwkw by 4500rpm's at the same boost . But like said times and trap speed are the real indication and the car managed to better it's previouse time on a 15deg hotter night and with a slipping clutch so thats what counts . Will be out there again hopefully soon and run the car to it's full potential .
  18. Lucky me I've got a miss fire problem now in the GTR. Pulled the plugs they looked alright cleaned them and put them back in also borrowed a couple of coil packs and tried changing them around but hasn't seemed to solve it . It has a miss on idle and under load but only when cold once it gets up to temperature it clears itself and is fine and stays that way all weekend . But after it sits in the garage during the week and you go to start it up the problem happens all over again . When it first started occuring I pulled the plugs and number three from the front was alittle bit black but after cleaning it and throwing it back in the problem was solved . It did happen again so I tried replacing the plug with a new one and it was good for awhile but now it's back and after pulling the plugs out yesterday they all looked ok but cleaning and replacing didn't solve the miss . Could it possibly be an injector problem ?, I'm running aftermarket 550's but don't know how old they really are . Any idea's you guys could throw around would be good
  19. all goes well I'll be attending the last one looked like fun .
  20. Hahaha Adrian you've got it made in the shade Brett
  21. nar your a 10th off . Hopefully next time out might be able to see some 1.6's .
  22. nar not expensive can pick up a good second hand set for $100-200. Alot of people have been upgrading the split fire coils cause the std RB ones can have probs .
  23. hahaha yeh I didn't want it to come arcross as harsh was a last minute post . I've done worse in a 2wd car out at the creek so don't feel bad 2.260ft isn't all that bad for 2wd on street rubber but if you can get it down to 1.9 then thats about the best you could hope for on street tyres. But then again hey all this advice is coming from a GTR owner us guys don't have any probs with 60ft'ers just everything else
  24. your 60ft's suck Maybe try lowering your tyre pressure . When you mod your car the charactaristics change alot and how you got off the line before might not be the best way this time . Practice practice practice starting by dumping at say 3500rpm's and work your way up the rev range untill the 60ft's drop . You may find that you need to ride the clutch alittle off the line for the best results and that may require a totally differen't rpm then when just side stepping , it's all about trial and error .
  25. Does the whole series of RB's use the same coil packs ?. One needs replacing in my GTR and just want to be sure when I find a replacment . cheers
