I was out there but didn't catch the 10.0 run ,details on that car and yours please 141mph is moving .

I could hear the mechanical grip of the car on that 2nd run when I standing behind it . I think I might load mine up on the handbrake a bit

Shame about the clutch Marko with that 60ft you were certainly on a 10sec run . Whats the plan now with the clutch ?? . Got my tyres today should be out there next Wednesday hopefully my OS twin plate can stand up the task of all the extra grip .

Is there anyway possible to get an r34 GTR into rwd mode to do a burnout then back into 4wd without doing damage? . I know they are a differen't animal to the 32 where this can be done but everything I've read says that it's a no go in the 34 without dropping the shafts . Thing is I've seen a few jap video's in which 33,34 GTR were performing burnouts . Does the difference come down to the attessa can this be swapped with a 32 , or is it more mechanical?.

Yeh I should be out there next week with the right tyres this time .

Hey Adrian do you have a pair there you could measure for me? . I spoke to Rocket today apparently there is another shipment of 275's coming in next week .

I could have told you that. The only reason I ordered the 295's is because I can't get hold of 275/17's at the moment but looks like Rocket will have a shipment in next week after speaking to them on the phone today . One thing I can't work out is the M/t size chart the measurements don't seem to match up . They have the 295/45/17 equivalent to a 28inch slick and the 275/40/17's equivalent to a 26inch slick . Thing is I just measured my 295's and they are nowhere near 28inchs tall more like 26 and 26inches is still too big for the wheel arches . I would be interested to find out the exact height of the 275/40/17's.

295/45/17's

Mounted one of the tyres on the rim and tried it on the car today there are clearance issues everywhere what a bummer my own fault I should have taken some proper measurements before hand . Really do need the 275/17's but there aren't any in the country . Looks like I might just have to put some normal 45 profile road tyres on the 17 inch rims I've got suppose they have to be better then the 19's and 30 profile .

yeh the shell extreme stuff I'm running on at the moment .

yeh C16 is out of the question . Spoke to Jim at CRD yesterday about maybe tuning the car on vp109 or something similiar for next wednesday but he wasn't too interested in doing it .

Heading back out to WSID next wednesday armed with a decent wheel/tyre combo . On paper from the previous runs the car has a 10 in it with current power (just under 350kwaw on CRD's dyno) . I wouldn't mind having just a little bit more power to make the job easier . The thing is I'm running gt-ss turbos at 1.4bar so I haven't really got any head room here as this amount of boost is pretty much it for these turbo's . I was thinking about getting the car tuned on some better fuel I don't really have a big understanding on the race fuels what should I look at using and what type of gains can be had?? . I'd be happy with a 20kw gain at the wheels just to make my job a tiny bit easier .

Wasn't a bad day at all . Was certainly a traffic jam getting out of the homebush car park me and the other car I was with just waited till most of cleared then made our way out instead of sitting in the traffic . I noticed when I left the park the cops were flexing there muscle and pulling a few cars over .
