  1. Thanks bro...sorry for hijacking this thread cos just notice the subject is for R32. Cheers!
  2. Anyone know what is the optimum ride height for the Greddy Type S and Bilstein with Eibach springs for the R34GTT? Don't wish for it to be too low because my ride has a full bodykit that's scrapping half the town humps.
  3. Anyone know what is the actual spring rates of the Tein Super Street for Australia or Japan Spec? Im from Malaysia and the one sold in our local distributor is coming from Japan. Now im running R-Tunes Nismo coilvers for my GTT, my other option is to swap the current springs to SWIFT spring (lower rates) which seem to have good reviews. Appreciate for some feedback.
  4. Thanks for the comments. Yes bro, that's a complete Veilside kit plus the GT wing. Will post up all round look maybe tomorrow. I actually like the de-wing look but notice it does effect the high speed stability where the rear feels too light though it has less drag to achieve top speed. Maybe a "duck lip" would help slightly. I usually go for a blast in mix twisty backroad + highway every week so the GT Wing really help to make the rear behave more predictable. The R34 body shape really need the wing if handling is your priority over looks., that's just my opinion.
  5. I am trying to find a day shot of my ride ....cannot see it properly during night shots. cos it's Veilside CF GT wing carbon black in color. Will post up soon..
  6. Some pics of my ride previously before installing a GT wing
  7. This is my Veilside kit...previously in White colour. So far i know Veilside would do up the bodykit once there is a minimum quantity amount required. They are so rare and i was lucky to get find a 2nd hand set.
  8. Planning to go back to 650cc since I'm only looking at 500hp max with my setup. Hope to get it install by next week. Anyone knows what is the correct setting for Sard 650cc?
  9. Im also planning to get the 800cc instead of 650cc. Good if anyone knows what is the settings, after doing that would i need to do a complete retune or it just would change the injectors value (lower percentage) yet drivable as before?
  10. Im an insomaniac so hardly need the sleep...lol Btw the settings is for the soft to hard configuration. If you are not sure bout your suspension type then it's best you get some friends who has coilovers to help you on this. Different brands has different settings. Just check what type your using first before playing around with it. Cheers bro...
  11. 1) The rear wheel getting off the ground one side is normal because your spring are fully compress (sometime have a "clunk" sound) when entering 45 deg driveway. I cannot do head on due to my bodykit is extremely low. 2) Jarring = when hitting pot holes, the whole car feeling the vibration. Not 'hopping effect". Probably ur setting is too soft which gives you a pogo effect. I will always start with middle setting then +- 1 or 2 to feel the difference since your shocks are bought 2nd hand. 3) Im running on 34GTR 18inch rims with 245/40/18 all round. So my ride height is around 2 inch gap tire to wheel guard. Always better to ask any friends or forummers using the same shocks for the correct ride height adjustment. Hope this helps....cheers.
  12. That's nice install though it's hard to look at unless car is stationary. Had mine installed at the astray area below the player on 34GTT so it's slightly upright. Will load up pics soon.
  13. Im looking at the Nismo as an upgrade for my GTT but heard Sard also produce 650cc injectors with no mods required. Target hp is around 450-500hp max for my T04E turbo setup with PFC. Which would be a better buy and easier to tune both power & economy using datalogit software? One last thing, I hv the Nismo fuel regulator bought a year ago but haven't installed yet. Will I be able to squeeze more fuel if both FPR & PFC working together with standard 370cc injectors?
  14. Hi Johnny & All Sorry to hijack your thread. I also bought the EVC6 and even post up a thread bcos im not sure how to utilise the Boost Correction setup for partial throttle. Appreciate some help from those who has installed this unit. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ev...ap-t231124.html Can help on what's the best settings for FUN 5 (THR & RPM) for T04E turbo im using which is laggy up to 4500rpm.
  15. Thank for your advice R34kid but I'm from Malaysia and most ppl who bought this just set the basic boost & gain, so not much help there. However I managed to play with it after reading the another forum. Still learning the partial boost response. Anyone else using this unit?
  16. Tried setting the rear from 4 to level 6 (has 1-8 adjustment), the rear felt more planted and almost very slight or no more the double rebound feeling. Maybe with a slight tire pressure increase may make it just right. I guess the spring rate (9kg front and rear) is match to more harder setting. The car felt more sharper in handling but jarring at low speed, highway is so much better.
  17. Mine seem to have the same problem although there is no leak, im using Coilovers Nismo R-Tune on my GTT. Guess the rear is getting old & worn till the springs is working harder than usual since it already been 2 years. Is there a spec which the person rebuilding the shocks has to follow or just basic oil+internal valve change only. Kinda dizzy as an everyday ride...
  18. Bump...need assistance on anyone using this HKS EVC 6 Boost controller...Cheers!
  19. Im getting it thermal wrap plus foil as double heat prevention. This way i can monitor when it bust again then most likely it would be engine mounting. The hose now used is a straight type which is so close to the manifold, not sure if a fabricated metal heat shield can fit in between. Getting an advice from an exhaust shop later too.
  20. A friend 34GTR with high mount T67 Trust kit had leaks due to cracks in the manifold. not sure which part but he eventually fabricated a totally new using better material stainless and much thicker too. Though the weight now is pretty heavy.
  21. Im was running 1.4bar of boost (T04E turbo) and it happened during shifting on WOT from 2nd to 3rd gear. Incident happened 2 weeks apart, first was a Samco Silicone hose and the replacement is an original black rubber hose type. Im now on my 3rd hose and worried it may not be the problem of the hose quality. I was told that it could be vibration or the manifold is too hot that it weakens the silicone material. Appreciate some feedback from Turbo Guru's...
  22. I have the same HKS manifold & gate as mentioned with Garret T04E turbo, it is quite a tight fit that the engine mounting had to be modified using RB20 engine mounts with spacer plates to match the height. Any chance the T04Z would fit, cos i really like that turbo. Not interested to go top mount cos heard that they do crack due to the weight.
  23. Hi Guys I hv been using the basic setting which is just set boost and calibrate the gain to match the boost. Recently i was made to compare between the Apexi AVR which has complex yet easy to set the boost for in-gear as well as RPM. My current setup is T04E external gated, PFC, 1.5mm Tomei Gasket running on 1.2bar boost. Can anyone help me since the English manual is not much help.
  24. I hv the HKS twins and so far the stalling practiced is over for me..been very good at traffic too. Hand brake helps a lot especially hill climb. I notice that when you feel that the clutch is about to bite and seeing the revs coming down, try holding the rpm slightly higher like 1100rpm. The only problem i hv now is during normal or spirited driving i sense the pedal feels a kinda rough (jerky) when disengage during down shift. I bought the clutch 2nd hand from a friend who happened to changed new plates (both) before selling them to me. After 2-3 month using it as a daily driving, the problem starts. Now it's been 5 month and the pedal feel seem to get worst. I don't sense any slip during up shifting during spirited driving plus i never do a burn out / drag before. Is the problem : 1) Is the clutch wear out already 2) Bad install 3) Slave pump (standard) need to upgrade to Nismo. 4) Fluid clogged
  25. Hve fun with it mate then when you're bored, just start modding such as ECU, Turbo and Handling packages.
