Price Drop / Bump.

The car has standard suspension but has 18' wheels which Im sure is contributing to the harsh ride. I had a Mk4 Supra with 19's and Bilstein Coilovers which skipped less on bumps though which I am very surprised at! B :wassup:

I'm interested in peoples opinion of the standard V-SPEC suspension, I'm not sure if its just my car but on the dodgy Melbourne roads it feels very gittery, I feel every bump and the car skips all over the place on bumpy roads? B :flower:

I have an R33 GTR V-SPEC and would like to have the suspension completely checked from top to bottom. Anyone know of any trustworthy and professional suspension places in Melbourne? Not interested in "Pedders" type places as I have had plenty of bad experiences before. B :flower:

Arkon - He is talking about importing under SEVS not RAWS. You also can't import 7's yet as the sole business accredited is only complying vehicles to sell at a BS inflated price! They are selling 7's for 52k LMAO, you can import them for 30 and I'm sure compliance is 22k!! B :kick:

First EVO was built in 1992 so cant be imported under 15yr rule. There are plenty of Galant GSR 4wd's that have been imported under 15yr, they have the same 2l engine, 4wd etc. They are a bit ugly but good bang for your bucks imo. Probably 6-9k depending on condition K's, mods etc. B :wassup:

Just wondering what everyones experience with them was with shipping from Japan to Australia, how much it cost and what the deal is with the insurance. With insurance how do you prove it was done since purchase etc... Thanks, B

Peeps, This post is very similar to the one about boost gauge but I am interested in everyones knowlege about what kind of mods are cnsidered illegal. I understand that each state is different but your opinions/knowledge and experiences will hopefully help me(and maybe others) keep defect stickers off our cars LOL... B :wassup:

Im in the process of buying a Supra as some of you know. The car was built for circuit racing by a guy I sort of know who has a good rep for quality work. While the car isnt EXACTLY what I would have done, it has probably 15-20k worth of mods I would have done myself anyway... I am now going to put some extra goodies onto it for 5k which will make it exactly what I wanted. The car was no more expensive than a standard supra so persnally I have saved myself a HELL of a lot of time, money and stress. One important point to note... Supra 3.0 TT engine can reportedly take up to 500KW on standard internals, I wouldnt be so quick to rush into a modded car with stock internals that weren't so well engineered! B

Does the L2 license require a doctors check up or certificate or something? All of the requirements should be easy but where would be a good place to buy a helmet and what kind of $ are we talking? One last thing, the ankle to wrist clothing, does it have to be a certain material? B
