  1. kenwood, clarion... pioneer... alpine. pretty much everyone makes good speakers (or made good speakers). anyone that remembers kenwoods hq line from a few years ago will know what i'm talking about.... if cost were no object - i'd be using some of these: http://www.audiotechnology.dk/iz.asp?id=4|a|132||| d
  2. i can think of MANY brands of amplifier that are "supposedly" good that i would not even begin to pitch at the new jaycar amps. you really do need to look inside some of these mass-produced amps to realise just how far most big companies will go to increase their profit margins. and its going to get worse unfortunately... i think the jaycar amps are about as good as they get for the money.... or you could scout around 2nd hand and buy some really nice older "less fashionable" gear really cheap!!! thats what i did! i bought my amps off car audio specific forums etc and despite mine being over 10 years old they're still considered to be pg's best-released amp (zeropoint series) they were worth like $3500ea new but i can assure you that i didn't pay anywhere near that for them! search for any old orion or ppi or phoenix gold... soundstream... great golden oldies... and lets face it who needs a warranty when you can see that you could smash them with a hammer and they wouldn't break! 2c d
  3. you could just engineer this stuff for car usage..... (if you were to go proper crazy.... like you should be in a room with padded walls crazy)..... clicky or these click on "poseidon" under speakers perhaps clicky on the other hand, if you just want to go ridiculously loud then check out: clicky and click or REALLY over the top: youtube - long clip but pretty crazy cheers! d
  4. i rate it 3 out of 10. the first one was far better imo. nice cars. nice girls. the driving was about as far from realistic as you can get and the plot was thin at best. still recommend it tho lots of top secret/veilside/signal etc etc cars. poor showing of skylines and like jayce said - no amount of nos in that ts rx-7 would allow them to catch that r34 gtr that flew past them. *grumble* still it was good to see you boys and girls! its been like 6months since i've activley sau'd! d
  5. man the rav is nowhere near as sick as the "FULL SICK HYUNDAI MAATE" for those not aware i've been religated to driving a 4cyl 4spd auto korean land barge that reminds me of driving a lounge chair, except slower and with less responsiveness. *throws hissy fit!* I WANT MY GTR BACK its now proven that there exists no worse withdrawal symptoms. d
  6. you never know... you "might" be able to catch this old fella there too been a while peeps - figured i should show my face around the place a bit! d

  17. lol rich. spotted a guy i work with who's become a new member to the gt-r club. its a silver 32 gt-r and a v-specII imposter!!! still a great car and it has the bbs rims, the stickers, the brakes... but its definately not 1994 d
  18. oooh thats nasty! tasty too somehow, but being pickles, i'd say it'll still sell for lots. spotted veilside in the hatsu rock u this avo 5:30ish canberra ave. big waves exchanged. d
  19. aah but therein lies the catch. very few of the SMG-equipped m3 owners will actually use this wonderful electronic do-daddery. you can't use the launch control more than 3 times (the computer logs it) before your warranty is voided. how incredibly stupid is that!!! a $146,000 sportscar that they wont let you drive as its sposed to be driven!!!! *grumbles* spotted a bloke in white 32 gtr today. stickers on it. guages on the pillar. big kit. stock 32 gtr rims and a clearly audible multi-plate clutch at about 2pm. fyshwick. drove right up to him and flashed and honked and waved etc and he was all very un-inspired by the whole thing. bloody non-sau snobs. d
  20. lol duncan. 200b's make wicked horsepower heroes so i hear teehee. and yeah i'm going to miss her so much hopefully it wont be too long till i park another gtr in the driveway. actually, i think you should each buy me a lottery ticket as a farewell pressie for the car. waddya say? d
  21. lol aussie del lights are pretty wierd. its like one and a half stovetops... d
  22. lol but nick redline's at 9000 tho.... ? so perhaps we should pull the fuse and smoke the rears bounching off the limiter in 2nd. waddya say *evil grin* i could never have such little mechanical sympathy tho... so tim if you're reading this, rest assured your baby is gonna be o.k. no this week is gonna be a lot of finding suitable transport and... unfortunately... lots of work... so i'm not gonna have much driving chair time in her before she's someone elses. *sniff sniff*
  23. i know why! i know why! ner ner ne ner ner
  24. wow i just vomited on myself! give me a sec.... *looks at webpage again* vomits everywhere again. yeah they's pretty ickie. soz andy... but i reckon the only led lights that look good are nismo-issue through standard covers and fitted to r34s. they're sick.... d
