  1. haha i thought i saw you cruising about with luke! that guy changes his cars like he changes his undies! r33. legacy. gtir. 18sx... *sigh* d
  2. nice car mate. best of luck with the sale. david
  3. i'm waiting on an email from a mate and i'll post it here asap which lists ALL the differences between vspec/vspecII/n1 configurations. watch this space. d
  4. i saw a 21" chrome spinner with tyre on some scales a few weeks ago when i was at a wheel joint here in canberra. 41kg ea w/ tyres!!! eeeeek! d
  5. its a shame more people aren't fluent with the hks computers here in aus. the trend i'm noticing is practically all the big jap tuners are using the fconVpro. 64bit architecture machine and stupidly configueable. spec for spec, its way ahead of your average motec/autronic setup apart from the datalogging and expansion options (adl/cdi/telemetry etc etc) so i'm surprised more people aren't using it here! d
  6. yeah it was. and i've known a few of the owners since you had it. at least one of them looked after it.. but i too have seen it in a little worse a state for wear! d
  7. aaaah hah. teehee. oh the d&d ball. i won't be there, despite the good line-up. and i'd rather drink $100 of alc. of my choice. there range is somewhat... umm... limited vb or carlton spew i mean draught... or chickie drinkies... but still, have some fun guys! d
  8. aaah that pink-clothes mobile is gone *sniff*. best of luck to you toonz with the car and all the best with the matiz andy! d
  9. dude bad luck man! i'd say if you genuinely believe you weren't doing 101kmh, ask for all the evidence and appeal it (in court if needs be). ask for the print-out from the radar and radar calibration history. its this last point that will most likely get you off. you can simply claim that the radar was out of whack in court (if the calibration tables were too old) and that will make the evidence null and void. i was speaking to a driving infringement lawyer a few weeks ago about this very subject and she reckoned that she'd got plenty of people off this way. it might pay to make a phonecall or two to see if your case will stand up. otherwise, its only $208 (or a big night out) and if you can spare the points, do it. will save you a lot of headache... d
  10. new oil filter, fuel filter, sump-full of motul and general service stuff done today at eds. this is a well looked-after car peeps! bump!
  11. poor turnout peeps! putty road or no putty road! still, for j&e, lesh and myself and other dave, was a nice little catchup. d
  12. okay guys, my car has to go. really. no sensible offer will be refused. call me/pm me/sms me/email me if you want to discuss it. cheers and bump. david
  13. indeedies. saw a maroon 33 gtst with a loud as bov turning off bunda st towards braddon today. oh and i'd like to inform everyone of canberra's newest member to the fraternity. if everyone can cast their minds back a few issues to the issue of hpi with the silver 33 vspec gtr from autostyle w/purple chrome te37s, gt-rs turbos, massively over-engineered cooling system and HAAAWT leather trim... well it now belongs to a bloke here in lil canberra. he was in at inline having his hks hyper-d's swapped over for new bilstein coilovers and a whole lot of trick suspension links/arms/etc from luch (tune-agent... the bloke with the nuts 300zr). he knows all about the friday meets now and i've convinced him to drag it out so you can all see the beast. it is quite simply a stunning car. up there with andre and mick's 33's. and very tastefully thought-out. d
  14. spotted, a stock-looking gunmetal 33 driving past my car out the front of my house veerrryyy slowly then bumping the limited when driving away. anyone from here??? d
  15. spotted andy (skygtrline) just before on canberra ave near parl. house. body work mate??!!?? front bar looked like it was in a state of repair! oh, and nice beanie! hehe d
  16. and another bump
  17. for some reason, those white roh's on silver is a look i really dig! i really like that car. had a bit of a "play" with it one evening on canberra ave. spotted. mspec2 and a few other lines parked in the bundah st carpark. d
  18. open to offers! bump
  19. i'll be out. and please tell me you actually know what a JI is. d
  20. haha hi mate so you're in the market for a gtst. good choice. gtst's are much simpler beasts (i used to own one) and you shouldn't have too many problems really. just the usual sh1t. of course, its all relative and the driving experience of a gtst is hugely different to an r. no doubt you'll find every problem you're likely to come across EVER posted among these very forum pages so have a snoop around. search is your friend. i was a member on here for like 8 months before i posted. i spent that time reading and reading and reading the backlog that exists. lots of info here. i'm not surprised you can't afford the maintainance of a gtr on what fay pays! teehee.... d
  21. i counted 8 r33's in woden tuesday night for tightass movies, including aurora next to a white 33. cool look!!! oh and also spotted a bloke in a gumetal 33 w/ gold rims/exh and other mods by the looks of things. sau schticker on the rear windscreen. 3:15 yesterday under the bridge on canb. ave. gave big wave. got big wave! nice car mate! (who are you... i can't say i've met you before!) spotted karl in his audi s2 AGAIN! man that guy pops up everywhere on my side of town! d
  22. cool. thanks. bump!
