  1. If I leave it I wont ever be able to put a high mount exhaust on.
  2. Ok, that's sort of what i was thinking but wanted confirmation. So my only real choice is to fork out heaps of $$ for a FFp and new throttle body and the dramas that come with fitting one i am guessing.
  3. Did a search but came up with nothing, so has anyone made their stock 34Gtt plenum forward facing by blanking the original entry point and making a new throttle body mounting plate on the front? Would this actually work or be bad in regards to flow? would like to get rid of the excess pipework across the front of the engine, along then across the engine to the throttle body and the aftermarket FF plenums sound like a P.I.T.A gettting the AAC and everything else connected and working. Fors and against please guys, and if anyone has done it pictures please.
  4. yep blue smoke is oil so hopefully a turbo seal, you may be lucky and get out of it reasonably cheaply.
  5. Seats still available for this??
  6. you guys don't think if he did a seal in the turbo it would put the oil into the air and into the cylinders/plugs and it would smoke and run rough? My R33 did the smoke/run like a pig thing when my fuel pump shat itself and it leaned out and destroyed the ring lands on the pistons(amongst other things) but that was white smoke, what colour smoke was yours?
  7. will have one next week to put in, "should" just be just a matter of changing the parameters in the car section.
  8. Just says Grommet-screw on my packets from Nissan. The fronts are different to the back one indicated with the red arrow. pretty sure the rear one you can get at autobahn, the fronts are a bit funky to incorporated the plastic strengthener bar that gets screwed on from under the bar. I bought 2 packs of 10 of each from nissan, worked out to around $30 for the lot.
  9. My 34 is doing something similar around 4500rpm under load on the dyno but i think it has something to do with maxing my air flow meter out (240kw). i have some video of it i might try and upload, see if its what yours is doing
  10. also Greddy ultimate(piggy back setup) and nistune(chip added to stock ecu) for cheaper ecu management options
  11. sounds like you are hitting boost or fuel cut
  12. Yeh same it worked fine for me too, tuned car today with the v2.32 and ended up with 240kw at the wheels which i am happy with.
  13. put me down for a R34 Gtt radiator cooling panel if the group buy goes ahead
  14. Which side skirts are these?
  15. i would be asking the place you took it to for an exact compression reading and get a second opinion. I am on the sunshine coast and have my own compression tester if you want to see for yourself
  16. I just updated to 2.32 and it worked when the others didn't, thanks for that Firestorm!
  17. only one i can get to work properly is the one that came on the disk...V1.14
  18. i installed 2.20 and 2.30 and when i open the program and click on the car icon on the top bar it says " language text not found at index 117"
  19. Just out of curiosity what version of the greddy ultimate software is everyone running?
  20. Well after uninstalling the software on my laptop and the trust folder in C drive i reinstalled the software that came on the disk which was V1.14 and Voila the car runs great again, so thanks Greddy for a crap update that cost money at the tuners and did my head in for a week. So i am back to where i started before i took my car to get tuned and next tuesday i may actually be able to put the car on the dyno and get some improvements...YEW!
