  2. Lol, sounds like a 13b rotary with a port job Might try going back to the original version of the software and see if it helps
  3. So i did a data log on the Emanage today and can see where the problem is, just not whats causing it. When i give the throttle a little blip (around 15%) the output injector duty is hitting 100% and the rpm is only 1300 or so. even when idling the input and output values are a bit different even though the values on the map table are 0.0 Anyone else had problems after the software update that totally screwed the unit?
  4. Yeh im back at 2.20 and it hasn't helped, might try taking each factory sensor off the emanage seperately and running it off the stock ecu to see if that will pinpoint where the problem is in the emanage.
  5. yep yours sounds pretty much what mines doing Canada, sort of what i was thinking, that it changed something or maybe the update corrupted something in the units? i changed the maps back to default (all values 0.0) and still the same.
  6. re updated to 2.20 on both the laptop and the emanage unit and no difference, runs rough and when you blip the throttle it dies, disconnect the emanage and go back to the stock ecu and it runs fine. WTF???

Everything was running fine(and the basics are still setup ) and had been setup since i got the car but after the update it wont run properly and it wouldnt let us in to save the maps before it updated so i have nothing to fall back on or to compare the maps to now so i can pinpoint whether the unit itself is the problem or if it changed the maps or how it is reading them (if that makes sense)

  10. The software on the emanage ultimate was updated thsts what stuffed everything.

I took my R34 Gtt in to get tuned on monday, the usual stage one mods, (Front mount, 3" exhaust with dump, pod filter, cold air box, apexi avc-r and flowed turbo plus water/Methanol injection and a Greddy Emanage ultimate controlling it) and when my tuner hooked the car up to the laptop the emanage needed an update on the software. As soon as that was done the car shat itself basically and the update either corrupted the emanage or the tune i had in there already. The car would run but wouldnt idle at all and was belching unburnt fuel. I had to bypass the emanage and run off the stock computer to get the car home and now that my maps are corrupted or changed they are basically useless. I was wondering if anyone out there may have an emanage in their auto Gtt and may be able to help me out by sending me a copy of their map files so i have a reasonable base map to start from again so i am not paying shitloads of dyno time to get my car running well again as i am already down one full days tuning $$ and took a massive step backwards. Really hope someone can help me out.

  13. Thanks for that info mate, the car has a greddy emanage ultimate setup and i have it booked in for a tune in 2 weeks so will know more about whats going on then. I am starting to think the stock turbo may have been hi flowed or something for that boost.
  14. reading boost off the apexi avcr and the stock gauge. just thought around 2800-3000rpm was a little late to get positive pressure. Thanks for the video sonicz
  15. Its 1.1 kg/cm well thats what it says on the apexi but its not getting that high .As i stated in the original post i just got the car, it looks like the standard turbo as all the stock piping is coming off the outlet of it.
  16. Nar the car has an apexi avcr to control boost and by the look its set at 1.1 bar, need to get the car to a tuner pronto to give it a good tune methinks.
  17. Hi guys, i have just picked up a R34 Gtt (auto) and it seems to take a while to get to boost. Could a few of you let me know what RPM your standard turbo 34's start to make positive manifold pressure so i can see if mine is the same or not, at the moment it doesn't become positive till around 3000rpm and i am wondering whether theres a leak or if thats normal.

  19. Hi guys, i have a R34 Gtt and there seems to be a hose missing on the blow off valve return line (the steel one) that feeds back into the air intake pipework before the turbo. Its only about 4mm diameter, any ideas as to what vacuum line or tubing is supposed to go on there?
  20. +1 for the poorboys. I use the ssr 2.5 followed by the ssr1 and a random orbital with the orange foam pad for the 2.5 then a white pad for the 1 and let the machine do all the work don't use a lot of pressure. Finish it with the white diamond like 92r32gts said.

  23. +1 for E-go never had a problem with them and pretty cheap for rims etc
  24. I am chasing some of these bumper clips too, wondering if some if the business traders on the site may sell or be able to source some...sure theres a few of us that may need a few?
