  1. i've seen this on my car and also was baffled as to what it does...
  2. It's a classified section, not ebay.
  3. I have the following parts for sale; Apexi Air Pod - *** SOLD *** Nissan GTR rear spoiler (off R32 GTS-t when imported from Japan). Black. Good condition. $100 I'm in S.A. May consider interstate sale on rear spoiler if no local interest (at buyers expense). PM me if you would like to purchase or need more info. Thanks.
  4. I'll prefix this by letting you know i'm not a mechanic. But i think (can't exactly tell from the pic) in the third picture you have listed - the silver circled thing is your fuel filter. hoses carry fuel to the filter then on and into your engine. the hose may have split, or a clamp has come unlose or undone etc and fuel leaks. you can purchase fuel hose from auto shops to replace but make sure the type you get is for a fuel injected car as they are made to withstand higher pressures. i think you should release the pressure in your fuel lines first though before undoing anything though. (do a search). and take precautions, don't go playing with petrol! If you're not mechanically inclined a mechanic shouldn't charge you very much to fix. $5 of hose and 20 minutes labour if that's what the problem is...
  5. Thanks for your response Simon. I'm pretty sure it's installed correctly, 'out' vacuum line to actuator and 'in' vacuum line to turbo. The only thing I can think of is that the solenoid unit is too far away and hoses might be too long... where did you (or others) mount their solenoid unt? I will post up a pic
  6. I've searched on this one with no luck. I have r32 gts-t with exhaust & fmic Just installed Id3 and i started on basic auto mode, set at 10 psi When i've driven my car over past couple of days it boosts to into the 12's... 1) the vacuum lines aren't very long 2) the wastegate is set to ac (actuator) 3) all other functions on the display seem correct why doesn't it hold boost? Any ideas Thanks
  7. thanks for your comments, eventually found it easier on the drivers side, cut a coat hanger and pushed through cheers
  8. R32 - any ideas/hints how to get wiring harness through the firewall? On the passenger side of car under the bonnet I can see where the main car electrical loom goes through, but i am stumped as to how to thread anything else through there... how can you reach it from the inside of the car Any reponses appreciated
  9. If you do this conversion make sure to keep free a whole saturday, preferably part of sunday as well
  10. do you have the instruction manual?
  11. Check out this link; http://www.boostcruising.com/silvia/eprom.asp
  12. i gather this is any easy swap, anyone done it themselves? if i install a gtr pump on an otherwise standard car will this present problems or do i need a different fuel regulator or other hardware items? thanks
  13. i thought r32 skylines were relatively easy to remap but r33's not so but i don't claim to have any real knowledge in this area
  14. sorry mate - my bad i have since learned there are additional costs involved with purchasing from overseas... and as such your price is market value. i am looking at buying one of these blitz ebc's - i don't have enough cash at the moment but if it's still on the market in a little while i will pm you. didn't mean to cause any ill feelings.
  15. consider fuel pump sold - please pm me
  16. id3's they are less than $600 delivered from nengun
  17. What Merlin said, a double de-clutch will see it in sweet at almost any speed first gear can handle. When i first imported my car i changed gearbox and diff oil, this made the box a bit slicker to change cogs (and i'm sure the diff loved me for it also).
  18. $585 delivered to your door new from www.nengun.com ...
  19. Great thread, I have a couple of questions; 1) What method do you use to hold flywheel still when removing main crank pulley bolt? 2) How do you fit a rattle gun on main pulley bolt with radiator etc in the way? (or do you remove to gain access?) Thankyou

  21. Blitz SBC ID3
  22. Has anyone purchased this product? As well as a boost controller (and from all reviews i've read the blitz sbc i-d3 holds boost better than avc-r - i presume is based on this boost controller) also has 18 other awesome colour screens and features such as power figures, 0-100 kmhr, 400 metres etc. Check it out on Nengun.com. Perhaps if a few people like what they see then we could move this post to group buys The closest thing i can compare to is the colour display included in r34 gtr, but with the inclusion of a boost controller... neato
  23. i am looking at getting one of these controllers for my car. what sort of $ did you pay and where did you purchase from? thanks
  24. copper is a more efficient conductor - however the strength of iridium allows a much finer electrode (less than half a mm - normal spark plugs are 5 times as wide). the smaller the electrode allows a more concentrated electrical potential at the tip.
