Ill try again, Sorry other thread got locked cause I didnt open my eyes. Hey guys I am having troubles with wiring in my 32 with a neo motor. I have just got it re-wired to run the neo engine loom and neo ecu so that I can use a nistune and the car wont start. The engine cranks, has spark and injector pulse and gets power everywhere so we think the timing on the ecu is out. The ecu that I'm using was a long shot because it was left in a boot where the battery had tipped over and leaked acid but I thought it was just on the casing. On further inspection there was a tiny little but on the inside of the ecu on some terminals of a chip. Before I go out and buy another ecu I was wondering if anyone in melbourne NE or anywhere has a spare ecu that I could borrow to plug in to see if it is actually the ecu thats the problem. Or if anyone has any advice then Ill just buy another ecu straight away.. Cheers in advance!

cheers for the help guys, the drivers door only sometimes unlocks so I usually have to go through the passenger door. Ill pull the barrel out and try and get another key cut. Is anyone from Melbourne that would recommend a decent lock smith?

Hi guys, just bought my first skyline a few weeks ago and have discovered that the key is really worn. Its gotten to the point where I cant even start it anymore, and cant get in through the drivers side door. Not too sure whether to buy a new key and barrel or can I get a new key made here in Melbourne? Called Nissan and because the car is imported they dont have any info on it to send me a new one. Its a 1993 4 door gtst. Do I need to change the locks as well with the key and barrel if I went down that path? And what is involved if I was to change the barrel my self ie does it have anything to do with the ecu? sorry for the noob questions but as Ive said, its my first skyline/fuel injected car. Any help is much appreciated.
