spotted black 34gtr, plates RB26 at anzac highway / brighton rd / tapleys lights this arvo around 5ish (i lost track of time by then lol). was in the Patrol going south across the lights, i stuck my arm out and waved, but u had a puzzled look LOL and spotted Zeke tryin to get outta Shoreham Rd onto brighton rd not long after

after JB posted that PANNIC video i went searching some more oh the lols

i could hear my car by half track, as they were well gone

Keep tabs on the colour of the fluid on the dipstick too brendan, if it goes from being a red to a darky brown, it'll mean a trans fluid flush (when it goes that browny sort of colour its burnt and useless as tits on a bull). Dexron III is fine for the task

steve, not wrong with the sandown stuff. even the touring car masters it was hairy. did you see the HQ that hit the wall, did more damage to the barrier fence than the car itself

That half crossed my mind when i read it pete. Thought straight up that the oil all over the engine could be from transmission (i take it that they run a transmission cooler in the radiator or somewhere front-wards), but if the engine oil level is low - zero, it just doesnt make any sense :-/

spotted Zeke yesterday arvo at the bottom of my street just about to turn onto seacombe road...........went cruising past in something a bit bigger and greener so didnt get a chance to get to the horn but i did get to the horn about half an hour later near morphettville racecourse, spotted Kahli and a blue M35 Stagea with gold AVS wheels. I saw u look a bit confused hahahaha

gonna struggle doin that on a pintara matt even tho the r31 platform is different, the trans tunnel on the manual is narrower *edit* - read that you're goin to do it with an auto, thats not so bad if its pintara, you'll just need skyline crossmember and some RB30 engine mounts (as the RB20 / RB25 ones push it too far forward and fan chews out the back of the radiator) if you can find a skyline to put it into, piece of cake. swap RB30 engine mounts off and onto the new motor, run loom, think theres like 5 wires to get it to basically power up (theres a wiki section on R31SC with this info from memory). If you score an S3, the auto is the same as 20DET and 25DET auto boxes (4sp electronic auto)

if its the same stuff they use on insulated screwdrivers, its shit. my screwdrivers have lost most of their coating in a short space of time
