thats the aircon fan mate, confirming you're talkin about the one thats in front (and by front we'd mean closest to the front of the car) of the radiator? if so, definitely a/c fan, and its probably still sitting in front of the aircon radiator anyways (have you gone that extensive when the actual radiator was out, and get the other radiator (which tucks in under the rad support panel) out?

well, it all starts today, off to pick up the R at lunchtime i may hav to disappear briefly during the day, my mate's dad (where i store my car) wants to use the trailer to pick up some steel for his shed. seems we chose the same day to want the trailer so just gotta run it back down the road for him to grab it

thanks andrew, i'll be sure to ask for some help when assembly starts good news, my diff is getting built this coming week. went in last week to order my axles, and it seems my order did make last months shipment. so my standard borg warner 8.5" diff will be equipped with Moser billet 31 spline axles (standard R31 length, carries same bearing carrier), 5x114.3 stud pattern Moser full spool centre retaining the 3.89 auto diff ratio diff itself gets stripped down, put in the acid bath for a day, then sent off to another local bloke to be etch primed and painted up. comes back, new seals, axles, centre, studs and bearings in and a new dose of oil
