  6. spotted shane in his courier van on south road at edwardstown today about 2:30 - 3pm, was one car back in the right hand lane (work ute) and abe on marion road about 5:30...........saw the last second wave LOL
  7. yeah, should be able to boof, i got a set of R31 rears on order from DBA as "blanks" as i need them drilled for 5 stud. costs a small amount more as they have to pull them off the run n that, but ya should be able to
  8. what time u doin brekky from? ive got nigel's GTR at mine sunday night, so will have to come by nissan patrol 2.8td, not entering the circuit (thank f**k). Nigel's BIT SUS GTR on the back though so kinda counts +1, he got me there (and turns out i worked on that subdivision 5 years ago ) make it the caltex on the other side krish, cos i'll prob meet nigel there (as he's towing adrian's silvia out), and its easier to get in and out of mate
  9. basically the neutral acts as a return path, and because that was broken it returns through the other earthing system (which in older houses is the copper and galvanised pipes). 63 volts is one hell of a kick, there probably would have been a fair bit of current on that (ive had a couple of wallops in my time and its not fun). You're actually lucky that it didnt kill you, very lucky. it doesnt take much at all (not trying to scare ya but i play with it every day and its something i have learnt to respect, the fact it can bite hard if you dont treat it with care). You'll be fine by the sounds of it, will hurt for quie a few days sounds like the age / condition of the service wire was the cause.......higher levels of salt and pollution quicken deterioration like that so a note to anyone who gets a shock from a tap in the future, DONT HESITATE TO CALL STRAIGHT AWAY. it could save you
  10. i'll hav my own skyline to tow home
  11. just label it "ejector seat" and you'll be fine
  12. yes, but they'll only bring it as far as the pits and dump it LOL
  13. car will be ready by then, why not show it off. dont know if it'll be 100% visually complete, but mechanically it will be
  14. looks the goods, definitely going thru craig to have my cage done. thats 2 cars ive seen come out of there that are second to none in quality definitely has come a long way, found an old photo of me skidding at lala with your old CA-powered bus bearing down on me LOL
  15. kellie ring 13 13 66 straight away. thats a broken neutral (as brad and i both thought earlier) describe it as you got a shock from a tap when trying to turn it off, and a customer service crew will be sent out. do NOT ring an electrician yet, ring ETSA straight away
  16. well, for those thinking about breaking shit on the day, news is looking partly better my winch is in now to get the tow hitch done and im set for full recoveries, even onto your hire trailer if need be
  17. sounds like it. what area is it kellie? might be worth calling thru on the response line and getting them to send someone out
  18. snap...........that would have been my next thought actually brad............did so many service replacements over in whyalla on standby down to old broken neutrals
  19. if its flickering and what not, id say you've got an overload. might be worth getting someone to check inside the main switchboard. aircon could be overloading the board (which sounds unusual if its only doing it now) legally i cant poke around behind the switchboard but that sounds like where the problem might be
  20. at least they didnt fall asleep on gavin's couch and end up with FAG written on their head like you
  21. thats the go steve, did u use a specific program for that?
  22. what i want to be able to do is have "rings" on there...........ie within so many km radius of me. I'll probably blow it up fairly big so its easy for me to work from
  23. anyone good at image overlays and the like? need a map of the greater adelaide metro area so i can knock up an easy to understand charges sheet for my towing services
  24. might have been earlier, but i cant remember. you woulda been heading towards brighton from south road (was just past the first set of shops when i thought i saw ya) well, next time ya down this way, dont be rude and drop in
