thanks for the positive comments so far. In essence, sinking 10k into it really isnt that much to sink into a 31, could easily spend more if i wanted to go completely stupid. a lot of the money is being saved by doing a lot of fabrication myself (or at least with the help of my mates). Plus i know my way around a 31 pretty well now, so will try and develop as much as i can before moving chassis the important stuff always costs, but ive worked out it can be used again in future projects (seats, steering wheel, fuel cell, engine/box package, suspension depending on what chassis i decide to move to in future)

Black centred, red stitching around the wheel Slightly worn in a few of the usual spots, still looks alright though No boss kit or horn button however (boss kit ive retained, never got a horn button with it) doesnt work with my detachable hub kit, so it has to go unfortunately $150 negotiable

i read somewhere that they're changing the rules for where you can put GPS units now on the windscreen they're talking about not being able to have it towards the centre of the dashboard, not in front of your driving position, and not up the top of the windscreen. so it'll basically be like mine, over by the a-pillar as low down on the screen as you can get it

yet how ironic you can have pillar mounted gauges in fourbys and not even get looked at LOL

Cara, you're getting ever so slighty cranky cos people dont know what you're on about half the time. Some of us realise that there's 1/8 mile around, and what you're running etc (ie cos you do have conversations with some of us, me included). So for me to see that, i go "hey, thats not bad for a first timer with a dead stock car on a f**kin hot day" whereas everyone else goes WTF? same as on 31 club, not everyone knows............and there are going to be some that stir. Learn to deal with them without going off the deep end at everyone..............because going off the deep end will piss off those who are willing to help you out

last night, cruised with TWINS33 and a couple of his mates (im assuming). Def a distinctive colour mate, nice clean car ya got

thats it i got "given" a car for my track project, got it as unrego'd and un-defected. didnt get any paperwork as he "couldnt find it". when i discovered it was defected (later discovered as a plate swap to his new car) i got given heat because i had no proof that the car was mine. Later it was agreed to that being a "verbal agreement" (ie he gave me the car for free if i picked it up") that the car was mine. this however is different as you've paid for it. Sounds very dodgy, id be making sure you dont get burnt (especially if you go to the effort of id check / regoing it here)
