  1. hehe, benny mack styles hey. i thought about doing that to solve the guard problem on the green car, but wont need to as ive got the deal sealed on the CBY overfenders on another note, ive started re-doing my stickers, using the side windows rather than the rear window but i couldnt help myself, and use the front windscreen for just the one

  7. ah, the mighty FWD U12 pintara
  8. oh yeah im investigating instant power for my 4wd too http://www.dieselgasaustralia.com.au "This Diesel/Gas system will increase power and torque by up to 20% (sometimes more). This power increase is due not only to the increased combustion efficiency, but also the LPG itself produces power as it burns. So even the most economical gas map and driving technique will produce some additional power. A more powerful setting can still produce better economy than running on straight diesel." "The power and torque increase applies over the whole rev range. Turbo lag is all but eliminated, and engine noise and vibration is dramatically reduced all the way through to maximum revs. The driver will notice fewer gear changes and higher average speeds, particularly on hills and when towing" and for an equivalent for what i should expect 2002 Nissan Patrol GU Coil Cab TD42T – 4.2l 6Cyl turbo diesel 5 Speed Manual 80,000km when fitted Average fuel consumption 15l/100km Standard Power: (red line) 96.6hp @ 3200rpm 840lbft @ 2600rpm DieselGas Power (green line): 141.5hp @ 2750rpm (+46%) 1295lbft @ 2040rpm (+54%)
  9. geez, andrew's a busy boy this weekend he was in my shed yesterday helping extract 26 and box from fishpaste's gtr (with success i see, as theres a car and a gearbox in my shed now, no motor LOL)
  10. agreed pete, as said the other nite i cant wait to go and play up in the quarry with you boys factory or not, they're not headlights. dont drive with the f**king things on. simple. couple of the guys at work have been warned already (as the Hino trucks come factory fitted with them). most of them leave the switch on, and when we start in the morning only switch parkers on (and they come on, but they dont stay on with full headlights). some people think its cool to drive at night with foggies on, its just more of a pain in the arse im waiting for them to crack down on spotties on 4WDs too, apparently they're not meant to be used in built up areas and are meant to be covered up (with a blackout cover) in the same situation. i'd not only be rooted, but 95% of other 4wd people out there
  11. mite not be there till later, if yas arent there i take it BP will be the re-location?
  12. went past this afternoon and paid my 50 bucks for the day. go the mighty GQ

  16. underbelly seems to be much more intense this season.............hmmm
  17. is it too late to put interest forward? be keen to see what the tow car makes LOL more in the torque figures than power though STAND CLEAR
  18. yeah, he's replaced the cracked one i sold my black doriteks late last year with no tyres. pair 8s and 2 pair 9s for 1000 cash (as i needed the cash to get rid of them)
  19. whats so blatantly defectable about it dave?
  20. its a lil differently laid out to 20/25 setup, hence where we're struggling. ive lifted 3 or 4 RB20s out of various cars, i was assuming it would be the same, but the pump brackets etc are different to the rest of the RB engines Carl / Blue32 - if either of you are able to drop around today and give a hand, im sure beer / favours would be paid southern area haha. Its being done in my shed Will pop my head back in here during the day to check up
  21. thought the stag with the polished 32 wheels was familiar
  22. i dont know about luke, but i hate RB26s thats as far as we've gotten today anyone got a clue how to get the P/S pump and A/C compressor off without bleeding said systems? (ie just being able to hang them off to the side in the engine bay)
  23. u north(ish) murry? if it is the car im thinking of it wouldnt surprise me LOL
  24. 25 / 1j wouldnt be powerful enough. however a GT28RS strapped onto the TD42 motor is a good option for lotsa torque. Guy from the patrol forums just bought a manual GQ shorty from VIC, with engineered VS 5.0 injected engine in it and if ya lifting, its gotta be at least 2+2 (2" suspension lift, and 2" lifting blocks under the body) - that gets the back step up to
  25. you know i'll be there gets me outta being at murray bridge all night trooping round in the dark and getting no sleep lol
