w00t 1min51sec round winton for the 31 not bad for a drift car with pathetically small front brakes and radial tyres

yes, ive missed a whole week's worth of posting the 31 overhangs about 2" at the most at the back brake issues were resolved last minute, seems the drums werent adjusted and were dragging. got them sorted last thing wed nite did 1600km over the weekend, including the drive over and back, and its awesome. as is the patrol. sat on 110 the whole way back today, and was a breeze. also a breeze to unload winton was fun too

oh sorry steve, only just seen ya post. yeah, phase one at the moment. next phase will be to put an electric winch on the front and then semi enclose it (probably just up to the front doors)

Nah, no specs anywhere else jess, but can find out what design my mate built it from. Basic specs i know off the top of my head (as its been built to suit my 31) Deck (being usable area) Length: 4.5m Width: 2m (suits 1.8m track of my 31) Ramps: 3m long, weight ~50kg each (mainly due to the 4mm thick mesh we used) Axles: 2x 1.4t 45mm square axles with 10" electric brakes mounted on 6 leaf roller rocker suspension ("spring under" configuration.....could have done "spring over" but would have raised the overall trailer height by 4") Trailer is unoficially rated at 2.8T (purely on max axle rating), but after shepparton we're getting it all looked at and the thumbs up given. If you're keen for a motorbike trailer, i'll give ya my mate's number via PM and you can discuss the exact needs with him (he measured up my car to specifically build this for me, but handily suits most nissans..............wont fit a hachi or anything smaller though) And some more piccies..............with the car loaded on

trailer is pretty much finished, took it for a dry run home (at 2am this morning). going to virginia afta lunch today to finish off the ramps, tidy up some of the unpainted welds and to load the car up. note: anyone using nissan wheels on trailers, the inner lip of the bearing centre opening needs to be ground out, spent 3 hours last friday grinding the lip outta these a few random photos for yas last night, final touches and how it stands this morning (still with a lil tidying up to be done)

not goin to mod it, to get load rating from tyres gotta have massive tyres, so chromies are a no go they're also 6 stud lol

yes, i am actually goin to get some hehehehe yeah, its a series 2 so looks a bit better, has the cornering lamps etc. not a fan of the factory alloys but they're growing on me
