hi, one thing i was told to look out for in all nissans was rust around the front strut bar location...meaning that more rust was a sign of heavy stress\movement. i.e.-thrashing. hope that helps a little.... ads

Has anyone had anything to do with this man? His name is Chris Stanborough and he took a deposit for a R33 GTR from me... We were mates for about a year ( met through work ) and i have not heard from him in several months. The car appears to have been made up and a lot of other things as well. Anyway, i am taking the matter to the police and i just wanted to check if any of you guys have had any dealings with him. He liked to brag about importing wheels and parts for " customers " and i don't know what to believe... We went to japan together and he did know everything about cars , imports in paticular eg. Skyline, Aristo, Mark 2, Soarer, Supra...you name it , he could tell you anything you wanted to know... Back to you guys, if anyone has heard of him, dealt with him or even tripped over him in the gutter , could you please contact me or leave an abusive message on his mobile. If he keeps getting away with ripping people off , he gives the already stereotyped import car scene a worse name with the police. Thanks for a moment of your time. Do you think many people would splash out and buy one if it was availabe? At a hundred grand , you could buy two 33 GTR's in good nic and somebody's kidney on Ebay.... Sure, the GTR's wouldn't be a 400R and the kidney would taste like crap,but 100 grand.....
