  1. Thinking of swapping my TE37 for a set of R33 GT-R wheels + $1500 my way Size: 17x9.5+12 / 18x9.5+12 PCD: 5x114.3 Tyres: Yes - 205/45/17 achillies (I think) and 225/40/18 hifly it something. $2500 for the full set Looking to swap for 33GTRs + Cash Kangaroo Point
  2. I'm glad we think alike.. I was looking to get paint done next, though I feel like I'm sick of doing the hokey pokey every time I want to reverse, so might just focus on this first (while saving for an engagement ring)
  3. Why hello, I should start off by saying i'm doing a manual swap later this year once i've moved, though figured I'd ask around to see if anyone's had a similar issue. So I picked up an R33 GTST back in December, and since I've been having some issues with the gearbox (and trouble identifying the issue). Not knowing how jatco 4 speeds work, i'm a little confused. The issues: - Extra load on the engine in drive - Sloppy shifts - Reverse RARELY works, and when it does I have to rev the tits off it for it to possibly move bakcwards (no hope reversing up a hill) Now it does still drive fine, and reverse will sometimes work when reversing down a hill, though I can feel a loss of power/loss of torque occasionally, and it regains "continuity" I'm more frustrated with the reversing part to be honest... I know people will say replace it, but i'm just lookinhg to see if anyone has a greater idea... Diagnosis: - Thought the fluid was maybe too low, ended up being too high - Mechanic told me it's the torque converter - Said that the wrong fluid had been used (had drained a little) - My other mechanic (tuner I use) mentioned it's probably the gearbox I have no clue, automatic gearboxes baffle me, but I would assume that if the forward gears still "work", that the torque convertor wouldn't be the soul issue/reason why reverse wouldn't work. So my question, does anyone have any expeience with this? It'ssounding like a bcombination of things, but a bunged up solenoid cois what i'm thinking. And as far as servicing, i'm unsure if any potential "fixes" are "affordable" or accessible without just ripping the box and convertor out. I'm not keen to rip it out to replace with an autpo box, if i'm doing that i'll just wait until I have all the parts for a manual swap. Cheers SAU
  4. As title says, would like to buy a white r32 GTR spoiler (would be mint if it was in Aspen White WK0 but I am aware this is not a standard colour) Located Toowong, Brisbane.
  5. ^There's one currently being imported which they have listed for $20-$21k which I'd be interested in. Though heard/read some things, would still deal with them if it came down to it.
  6. Yeah man! That's why I'm liking the one on J-Spec, well presented, reasonable KM's, looks immaculate. Best thing I love is so much room for potential, already have some plans but it's a fair ways off yet. And importing would kill me, that wait!
  7. I indeed would be interested, though I can't seem to find a great deal floating around
  8. Hello all! As you have seen by the title I'm looking at getting a 260RS within the next couple of weeks. I'm looking for one with reasonable Km's which is reasonably clean for it's age. There's one on J-Spec that I'm looking at which is roughly $16500~ + Stamp Duty and Rego, only thing is it'll take 3 months to get here which I'm willing to wait. There's a few others floating around, there's one coming into Edward Lee's in about a week and will be ready for purchase in 3ish weeks (I'm in QLD though). It has less Kms at 75,000, though the presentation and pictures they've provided me hasn't sold me.. The damage on the front bumper is concerning me, and I can't exactly go and "take a look" at it, being in another state, they have it listed for $20,888 Should I wait it out till they recieve/clean it and get some updated pictures? Or go and order the one through J-Spec? Even though it's only about $4k difference, the damage is concerning, though it has good KMS (obviously don't know how either of them are mechanically. Any advise when looking for something like this? Thanks, Callum.
  9. Hello all~ My name is Callum, I figured I'd join to ask a few questions as I'm soon to be importing a Stagea 260RS autech from dem Japans. Car is listed on J-Spec and I'm in the middle of sorting out finances before I go ahead with Purchasing and Importing said vehicle to QLD! Always been inlove with GT-R's though their price restricts me from owning one at this point in time, and also need something less likely to be pulled over then my s15 which I might have to end up selling I've always loved RB's though been an SR whore for the past while, so yay for mad powers~ So much room to grow with an RB, so much potential. This is the Car in question, 1997 Stagea Autech 260RS 122,000kms - Opinions appreciated! http://www.j-spec.com.au/featured/1997-Nissan-Stagea-16290.html'>
