YEah I wasn't too happy with the 'check-up' Mercury did on our Skyline last week. Trying to figure out what this stupid noise is and they definetely didnt check it all, just presumed it was the exhaust - but it's not - got that checked on the weekend.

Saw someone in a Series 1 grey sedan with a rear spoiler just coming from near the Hyperdome, driving towards the highway way - I was coming from the street near Nutri-Metics in the same car minus the spoiler! - Was gonna chase and give you a wave you but got a red light! - Anyone here?

Went up for a feed at Market Square at Sunnybank the other night. They have sections of the car park blocked off with bolted in witches hats and signage on the ground in big white writing - 'NO PARKING" - and guess what I see. A bloody lady asian driver in a new toyota prado pull up park ONTOP of the witches hats . . . (wheels totally squashing the hats) - totally ignoring the BIG WHITE WRITING and the huge orange witches hats! Man i felt like walking over and smacking her in the brain!! - But i guess that is Sunnybank and you get that alot!!

Nah wasnt me - I'm in a series 1 and I havnt been driving any blond chicks around!! I would have been giving it what for though!! Actually got upto 175 ks on the way to the Sunny coast once - my fastest speed!

I'm not getting the crome wheels - they are called silver black machine - i dont really like crome - sometimes it looks too fake and like those plastic kmart clip on hubs!!

Nope definetely not the Sabers = theses are them - the picture doesn't really do them justice - but they are a deeper dish with darker outlining, they aren't crome but they arent as bronzey as the machine crome.

The plan is wheels, brake set, rear spoiler (currently doesn't have one - i agree they look 'uber gay') something low, black - kinda like a mini gtr wing, spoiler kit, then maybe if I'm lucky, turbo kit and maybe if i'm feeling even luckier, carbon bonnet - not sure about that one - thinking it may spoil it, and of course gotta ge rid of the old exhaust and muffler. But one day I know it will be my perfect car - one day!!

I do like my car - it's just most people give our car crap - and i want to prove them that they can rock and look better than other R33's. That is why I am willing to spend the money on it. BUt most people are telling me to give up and buy another car - but I would much rather fix this one up to a certain standard and say that i have put all this work and effort into it- instead of just giving up and buying a whole new car. I like my car, but want to make it better, I wasn't dissing series 1's - me rikey the series 1 - thats why i bought it! I as just saying that R32's are also very nice. But I'm totally sticking with this car and in a couple of weeks i will show you the difference the wheels and other upgrades has done!

It's too hard to convince my other half to sell it and get an R32 - I really don't mind this car - it's a good car - - i love it - it's the luxury version and has only done 78 000 and I know that if i buy an R32 it would have been flogged around by someone. I guess no one likes the idea of me trying to do up my car

The turbo is another year or two away - insurance costs and spending money on another car - but I am going to stick with this car - but if i was going to get another Skyline it would be an R32 - always been my favourite - But I'm gonna stick with this car - do it up as much as i can and make it kind of 'original' so people go - 'did that car use to be a crappy series 1'?? I'll get the before and after pics once all completed., and you will hopefully see my point.

Shall do - once the bloody things are on!! They just suit the car perfectly - they are HP brand - Saber, they are the machine crome - so not crome but more silver and grey edges - which suits the car - I have a R33 Series 1 - 4door - crappy i know but wait until i have done all the mods - then you won't knock the Series 1's!!! Trust me - it will all be worth it in the end.

Yeah it's definetely worth it - nothing compares to these wheels - also i will need to upgrade once i put a turbo in - so it's all in good cause! I might hit you up for some advise and tips - probably won't be happening till the weekend though! Thanks everyone for the help - muchly appreciated!! Cheers

I just got a quote for the whole lot - stub axels, rotors and calipers - $600 the lot - off a R33 gts-t - he said the rotors were in good condition. Is that a fair price - sounds faily good to me. - We will be able to put it on ourselves - just maybe need to get the brakes all checked - but is $600 good??
