Craig in the RS5 is very impressive too! I know im in trouble once russ gets his shit sorted and memorizes the maps (may have used up all your good runs setting up) Thanks Reon for helping do the results.

Awesome Deca. Awesome weekend. Some great driving on display. Off the top of my head their is mike lowry who is certianly punting his car a lot faster. The stock 34 looked like it was moving and man does chris's rs5 launch. Jett, your a goose, good effort tho. Russ, your car is nuts, esp out the back. Tim, you drive deans car too hard (clearly;). Campbell you drive leons car too soft, apparently it only makes power on limiter.. Leon, good work on the weekend, you certianly are the entertainer! Im glad im not your car and how about the locals.. They didnt seem to understand our definition of 'battles' in the afternoon... no need to take shirts off Thanks to all that got straight onto them. Last thing we need is uninvited people writing their cars off on our watch. Short of having that BA on its roof i dont believe anything they did would be entertaining given the company.. So anyway, as leon said, thanks to our volunteers and their ringleader Wayne and also to all those with footage and photos. New material coming to the next deca. And possibly a very different wang... See everyone up at Nats and the next round!

Just to clarify for everyone and especially new people, there is no reserving spots and the ONLY way to get onto the entry list is to send in an entry form. Entrys for deca sometimes fill up in a day and sometimes take a couple of weeks. Looking forward to this one, hopefully it's dry! -
So dont get use to results the day after the event Just to clarify, AWD was 1st: Shane Janssen, 2nd: Mario West, 3rd: Justine Schuller. The results will be updated. oh, and team white smashed team orange Congrats to everyone who placed. some impressive times throughout the field.

I shouldnt have taken the results out on the town with us, i think i left them at Taco Baz's for the fastest times awards we didnt do...

Edit: "TEAM WHITE 180" The evoloution of the GTR driver has always been an issue with map design. As a result, we will once again return to the slightly simpler layouts. We apologise to all rwd competitors. I know its a bit of a teaser and its a shame we couldnt get it into this deca (R&D worked ovetime) but here is the first map for the August Deca: -
Leon is going to look at the original time sheets. if they say DNS then not much we can do. Part and parcel of hand timing, never going to be perfect.

Great day, thankyou to the people who volunteered, including scruteneering in the morning and a big thanks to the drivers who parked their cars and came and helped between runs in the arvo. Good work Leon too, the day only happened because he put his hand up to keep these events running. The club could do with a few more committed people like this Wayno, Rosco and Juz, you guys take the cake for saturday night! especially rosco who got kicked out of the GV before we even go there. Hilarious! Had a ball in the car all day. Killed the tyres in the morning and struggled all day with it, as you can see in the vids but still fun. Delaminated them in the arvo. Good vids Daz, enjoyed flogging your car, 4 wheel slides are good fun.

GT5 'gameplay' is exactly the same as GT4. Turns too slow (lock to lock), grass and gravel do nothing, walls do nothing, touching another car does nothing... stuff looks pretty though. Use to be GT all the way. Then i played forza. Still more fun than GT5

Results are all entered, we are just sorting the new spreadsheet. Leon should hopefully post them up tommorow evening. Deca Refunds: Need bank details from the following: Ryan Loos Kieran Robinson Vince Ritchie

So the 2010 Championship is over! 4 sold out Decas in one year means its clearly not time to give these things up!... Which we were if it was not for the likes of Leon and Bec! I will say however, one of the most frustrating things about running a DECA is relying on factors you have no control over. A big one is VOLUNTEERS!! Over the past 25 decas we have gone from an abundance of volunteers where we had 3 people alone cooking the bbq to practically begging for people to help (on the day!). In the past a large number of volunteers were also competitors who for some reason or another did not enter but were still happy to lend a hand, for the sake of giving something back to the event. Sau Decas are much more like a weekend away with mates than an event out to make money. If thats all we wanted to do it sure wouldnt cost $85 and noone involved would bother with it. That being said, if we cannot manage to get Volunteers EASILY next year 1 of 2 things will happen. 1st is everyone gets over busting their asses with no help and cant be bothered running events or 2, we hire someone like Race Soloutions who charge for their services and we simply jack the price up another $50 to cover the costs... pretty silly considering we only need 12 people for the first half of the day and 6 for the afternoon... Enough beating the volunteers horse, its nearly dead. Hopefully 2011 is the year of the DECA helper! Again, everyone involved with the incident, thankyou for your help. Especially to the guys who ran them to the hospital. Thanks to the Volunteers, Bec, Anna, Joey, Bus stop flaggy , Sandeep and Co, our mini wang Starter Don?, Wayne and Mick. and our scruteneers Russ, Tim and possibly Ash?? plus everyone who helped in the afternoon battles. Also, all the guys who helped pack up, Cheers! Leon will be doing results shortly. Thanks to Sandeep we now have a much quicker way of doing Results which should be all sorted for next deca. just ironing out a few things this time round. See everyone at the final meeting for the year.
