Im using an XF throttle body and also my computor dosent run a throttle position switch/sensor. Its an EMS stinger if that helps.

Bump. Come on guys I need to know if its necessary for my engine to run. From what I can tell my after market computor isnt even plugged into it anyway. Do I need to plum it in or not?

Theres 2 valves on the back of the plenum, One aac? and the other I suspect is air-con idle up so why the need for 3 seperate valves?

Well what are the two at the back of the plenum for.?? Im running an after market computor and it dosent even seem to be hooked up anyway?

Whoops forgot to add its on an RB25DET series 2 and the part sits just below the plenum runners.

I desperately need to know what this is, I am in the process of installing my new plenum which has very limited outputs for vacume etc. I need to know what this part does and if its neccesary to hook up or just leave it diconnected. Thanks in advance any help appreciated.

Thanks for the input. So what should I expect from standed internals and a "extended engine life". Sorry for being a noob but I have read many threads all with conflicting info. What is a good power figure for stock internals and how will the gt3040 with .82 rear go?

Hey guys just after some help here.. I have an rb25 (Stock internals) with the following mods, Large A.R.E front mount 3' zorst EMS computor Custom manifold with garrett gt3040 .82 38mm hks gate AVCR 900hp high flow injectors.. bov etc The question I really need to know is will this make 300rwkw? I need to know this because if it wont I will upgrade the turbo before I fit it (or hopefully swap it over). Any help appreciated. :

Dont run an AFM, I have no idea, it must be built into the coil packs as the computor wouldnt have it.

I assume its a series 2 engine although Im not sur. Im changing the engine to a new rolling shell. Is there a tell-tale sign thet its a series 2 engine? Where is the igniter on a series 2 engine? Bearing in mind Im running an EMS computor?

I am currently changing my engine between shells and have not located an ignitor for the coil packs. I am running an EMS ecu with map sensor and the loom goes straight into the coils packs and other engine other sensors from the ecu etc... No ignitor to be found? I have heard the series 2 engines have the ignitors built in to the coil packs is this true? There is nothing were it would normally sit at the back of the coil pack cover. I really need help with this as I need the car running again. PS The engine was running in the other shell before I pulled it out so I have no idea ............Please help.

fark thats crazy. The turbo was actually bolted on to the engine but the engine was sitting beside the car.

Well people within the last week I have been robbed of some precious things. I have been saving for years only to have it all taken by some scum. I am offering a very substantial reward for any info. The stolen gear includes, A.R.E Front mount intercooler Greddy /Trust TDO6-25g Turbocharger Greddy/ Trust High mount stainless steel manifold Turbo smart mega sonic BOV Autometer monster tacho Autometer water temp and oit pressure guages in red cups Pioneer cd head unit (the loom was cut Kicker sub in a carpeted kicker box 4g worth of tools (every tool I own) And a lot mor stuff. These items were stolen from near Forest Lake and were stolen some time in the last week. The items stolen are worth well over 10 thousand dollars and I am absolutely heart broken. My car was due to be finished in 2 weeks and now I dont know what Im going to do. This is a photo of the turbo and manifold. Please keep a look out for any cheap parts.
