  1. . I changed to the ls coils because my igniter shit itself so I decided I'd just get rid of it and get smart coils and I guess I was just bored and wanted something todo haha the harness needs to be modified to suit and an extra earth to the ls coils as they are 4 pin and the rb coils are a 3 pin didn't take me long to redo the full engine loom helps to be an auto sparky.
  2. I have ls coils they are off chev v8s they can all be used but are not as tidy as the standard coils they require a custom bracket and wiring they are cheep and got a fair bit of power in them but need the dwell times changed to get the most out of them. The standard coils are proven they have lasted around 20 years but are costly for new ones. I have some with 800kms sitting around here but are for a s1 that I plan to sell cheep. As for the split fires I can't comment don't know much about them. Here is my ls coil setup
  3. I got it off a shop on ebay it's different to yours and it's only about 1.5mm think so it's so flimsy I could make one better myself. I wish I got the bigger injectors in the first place seems like such a waste they only have about 800kms on them since new haha but it will be good to know it won't have to be upgraded again.
  4. I have my power steer resivour in front of the radiator mounted to the support I got the idea from a 32 at powercruise. I have the plastic bottle and the feed hose to the pump runs under the radiator and haven't had any problems at all.
  5. You should have an earth from the ecu to the fuel pump relay (on my gts4 it was in the boot not sure if it's the same) to switch it when running. It's easy enough to just use a new relay to rule out bad wiring plus up rate it a bit. Using the ecu signal to pin 85,battery positive to pin 30 and 86,then 87 is your positive to your fuel pump then just make sure you have a good earth for the fuel pump.
  6. Sounds like a good tuner to be dealing with that's some good service he is providing. I was thinking when I had problems with mine it may have been a voltage spike or something around that area that wiped it as I was having problems with the battery at the time but since then no problems. Just need to rule out everything els before you fork out 2k then find the issue to be something els
  7. So the drag wing came today all I will say is it's getting sent back it's not what I expected it to be for a 300+ wing. So the stock s2 wing will go back on now and am looking for a s2 front end and some stock gtr wheels for a kind of sleeper look seeing as how the cops are getting now that way I won't stick out to much. Also will be plumbing the screamer back in and get the exhaust almost silent so I can still enjoy driving it without feeling like a crim. I almost have all the a/c wiring ect to go back in so will get some dynamat first so I can do the firewall in it then do a decent stereo and a double din PC so I can use fc edit on it. After all that I will be upgrading my fuel system from the id725 to atlest 2000cc as I'm using e85 and another 044 new lines and duel feed for the fuel rail. Oh and a streetable diff would be nice
  8. I had the same problem happen to me over a year ago that killed my 26. Every thing was reset back to base tune I don't know how it happened but I know for sure i didn't play around with anything on the commander. Spoke to the tuner but didn't have it saved. A good thing to have is the datalogit even if you can't tune you can save the tune from the pfc and keep it on your computer or even a usb still turns out cheeper than another dyno tune if anything where to happen.
  9. sounds exactly like myself I was just about to buy a hybrid manifold then freaked out and got a 6boost it's really a work of art and couldn't be happier. I have read of some guys using the hybrid high mount for over a year with over 300kw no problem.
  10. Have my s2 r33 wing in silver for sale perfect condition no cracks good paint. $100 located brisbane northside
  11. I don't think it would matter to much what side it's on.
  12. I don't have first hand experience but have read In other forums that people are just modifying the waste gate and having no problems at all. I know they get to it with a die grinder and bore it out a bit and the flap seems to be fine how it is.
  13. The ls coils are good and cheep they are not the neatest coils but they look interesting I guess haha
  14. Yeah I know I like it allot more now it runs again now so I will get it out for a photo tomorrow if I get a chance. I ordered some black silicone joiners for the intercooler piping also and will change the vac line to black to
  15. Thanks guys I already have the a/c sorted and I need a rear diff centre I should of noted that cheers for the replies
  16. I wish I went with bigger injectors right up but never planed on using e85. At the moment my max injector duty is only around 70% on a really rich tune on id725cc. But I'm clueless what power I'm at haha
  17. Thanks man in a way I'm happy but I kinda wish I just rebuilt the 26 now haha
  18. Cam covers back on plus the ls1 coil packs didn't bother painting the coil bracket I'm thinking of getting a billet one made up sometime soon. Ordered some black intercooler pipe joiners also going to scrap the speed flow fittings for some 200 series black fittings and black braided hose.
